I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Better week of game contacts, but needing 5 subs in one week is not really a positive for the league. Guys, I know that it sucks playing games when your team is not good, especially for some of the owners who’s team has been good for so long, but this is a hth league and everyone needs to be playing their games hth if they want to stay. Full effort from everyone is how the league continues to run well and it takes away fun if you are constantly trying to find someone to sub for a team who’s owner should be playing the games. Off the soap box now and on to the playoff races.

And the top spot in the NFC has changed hands as the Saints again stumble against the Panthers while New England beats Philadelphia to move into a tie but they have the top spot due to the hth tiebreaker. Jacksonville downed NY Giants and hold the top spot in the East but still have work to do to clinch the #3 spot. Carolina right now is the #4 seed and the Giants and Arizona are tied for #5. Atlanta and Kansas City are tied at for the #7 spot and KC has the upper hand with winless Miami while the Falcons have to beat NY Giants though they do hold the tiebreaker hth if both win or lose in week 18. Miami holds the top lottery spot with Tampa a game behind along with Minnesota.

Tennessee has clinched the AFC West and hold the top spot which they clinch with a win or Pittsburgh loss. Pittsburgh still holds the top spot in the Central and can take the top spot in the conference with a win and Tennessee loss. The Steelers win the Central with a win over Philadelphia or a LA Rams loss to Denver. The LA Rams can only win the division with a win and Pittsburgh loss. Denver wins the East with a win or GB loss. Green Bay wins the East with a win and Denver loss due to a better division record. LA Rams are currently the 4th seed and LA Chargers the 5th and both have clinched playoff spots. Dallas and Green Bay are tied for the 6th spot and both clinch the playoffs with a win while Buffalo needs a win over Green Bay and they would knock the Packers out and take the 7th spot.

Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up smoothly.  Let’s see if we can hit the first week deadline with all games played head to head and as always if you need help let us know.  If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game in.  Make sure you have the latest action update which is available on the website.  Game files are up for the start of the regular season, so make sure you go download them and start making contact for week 17 games. If you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too far into things.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/1/25 ***

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.
