I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

This is it, final week of the season and in many cases some very important games going on and then in others not a lot left to fight for. As always, please get on game contacts quickly and please do all you can to play hth games so we get the best competition possible for these final games. With the playoff push finishing up and a lot of teams still involved, I need everyone’s best for one more week and then we can take a break for the holidays.

In the AFC, Denver is the #1 seed and likely will rest some players which may affect the playoffs still. San Francisco locks up the #2 seed with a win or a Pittsburgh loss. Pittsburgh can be the #2 seed with a win and a Niners loss, otherwise they will be the #3 seed. Green Bay, Buffalo and Tennessee all lock up playoff spots with a win (too many tiebreakers to say who will be where if they all win) or if 2 of Cleveland, LA Chargers and Minnesota lose. Minnesota is the #7 seed if they beat LA Chargers and the Chargers will be the #1 seed if they beat the Vikings as Cleveland loses a tiebreaker with LA if they both win this week. Everyone else is making plans for the golf course.

In the NFC, New England locks up the #1 seed with a win or NY Giants loss. NY Giants lock up the #1 seed with a win and Patriots loss, otherwise they are the #2 seed. New Orleans is the #3 seed. Kansas City is the #4 seed. Arizona and Carolina are the #5 and #6 seeds, and the Cards are the #5 seed with a win or Carolina loss, while Carolina gets the 5 seed with a win and an Arizona loss. Seattle is the #7 seed with a win or Philadelphia loss while Philadelphia is the #7 seed if they win and Seattle loses. Houston and Atlanta need wins  and losses by Seattle and Philly to have any playoff shot, then the tiebreakers will really get wild trying to see who snags that last spot. Detroit, Jax, Tampa and Miami are done and waiting on the lottery.

Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up smoothly. If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game in.  Make sure you have the latest action update which is available on the website.  Game files are up for Week 17, so make sure you go download them and start making contact for week 17 games. If you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too far into things.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 11/2/24 ***

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.
