I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Game files are up for week 2, so make sure you go download them and start making contact for week 2 games. Games are due by 10 pm on Monday nights, so please, try and get them started by 8 pm at the latest as I need at least an hour to process files and get things out, so games finishing after 11 pm means I won’t get to things until Tuesday sometime.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 08/16/22 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

All 14 games to start the game were interconference, so going to just go through them all and will split by conference for week 2.  New Orleans wins a tight one over the LA Chargers and New England does the same over Denver as the top two teams from last year both win their openers.  Cleveland beats NY Giants and Miami equals their win total from last year in week 1 over Dallas.  Tennessee crushes Tampa Bay and Chicago wins big over Philadelphia.  NY Jets down Detroit and Buffalo gets a win over Atlanta.  Seattle wins a barn burner over Green Bay and Kansas City just sneaks by LA Rams.  Minnesota runs over Carolina and Jacksonville wins late over Pittsburgh.  Houston takes down San Francisco and Arizona more than doubles up Indianapolis.

Coming up in the AFC Chicago and Cleveland look to stay unbeaten and NY Jets try for second win over Indianapolis.  Tennessee hosts LA Rams and Minnesota heads to San Francisco.  Buffalo gets a visit from Green Bay and Denver and the LA Chargers both look for their first win.  Dallas heads to Miami in the second half of a home and home looking for revenge and Pittsburgh travels to Atlanta with both teams trying to avoid 0-2.

Coming up in the NFC Houston and Kansas City fight to stay on top of the Central and Miami hosts Dallas looking for back to back wins.  New England and Arizona also fight to stay unbeaten and New Orleans hosts Philadelphia.  Jacksonville hosts NY Giants and Seattle heads to Detroit and both try to stay on top in the East.  Tampa Bay and Carolina both look for their first win and Atlanta hosts Pittsburgj as both teams do the same.
