I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

A bit of a rough start to the season, but that was to be expected with a lot of new owners and open teams.  Please keep doing your best to get games set up and working together to find times that work for all. Some interesting results in week 1 but one game does not a season make, so let us see what week 2 brings and if things turn around for some teams who expected better. Good luck guys and enjoy the holiday weekend (so get those games in early!).

We have a new owner in Philadelphia, Robert Baker, who will be taking over immediately as the Eagles new owner for week 2. Robert can be contacted at rbstrat1@gmail.com for all league matters. I am still looking for potential owners right now if you know anyone who is interested in the league, we need owners for Arizona, Detroit and NY Jets and would like to fill these spots as soon as possible. Hank Sienzant is going to cover the games for Arizona for this coming season and Ed Minshull is going to cover the games for NY Jets for now as well.  Please try and be as flexible as possible when scheduling games with these two guys as they are playing twice as many games as the rest of us.  If anyone wants to help out with Detroit, let me know, otherwise I will just ask for people to fill in each week to cover games. I will play them if I have to, but I don’t have a ton of extra time so any help is going to be hugely appreciated.

Game files are located on the website for week 2.  Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no later than Thursday of each week.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 8/9/18 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.
