I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 16 is in the books and all games in early, so thanks a ton for that guys.  Thanks to those who have helped with subbing this season, I appreciate that help.  Playoff races are mostly about position now as all 6 AFC slots are clinched and only the final 2 wild cards are left in the NFC with the final week determining who plays who.  If your opponent is not available, please ask for a sub and make sure the games are getting played HTH. FYI Jeff/Philly is out of the loop for a bit, so please email him for a game contact and if he doesn’t answer within a day or two let me know and get a sub to play the game til he is back up to speed. Also Wade Fossum will be playing games for Green Bay until further notice, so please contact him rather than Scott. Atlanta has one last chance to break their donut, can Pete the Greek get it done? Game files are located on the website and are ready for week 17.  Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no later than Thursday of each week.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/08/16 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC Indianapolis shuts out Pittsburgh to stay on top of the conference while New England keeps Atlanta winless.  Dallas downs Chicago and Tennessee stops San Francisco as the West comes down to the final week.  Buffalo just gets by Arizona and Denver wraps up the final playoff slot with a win over San Diego.  Cleveland beats NY Jets and Houston falls at Carolina.  Minnesota beats Green Bay.

In the NFC Kansas City beats St. Louis and the Central will go down to the final week.  Seattle blows out Jacksonville and New Orleans stops Philadelphia as both fight for the top spot in the playoffs.  Carolina beats Houston and Detroit takes down NY Giants and moves into the final playoff position.  Arizona falls to Buffalo and Atlanta stays winless vs New England.  Tampa Bay beats Miami and Green Bay falls to Minnesota.

Coming up in the AFC Indianapolis wraps up the Central and the conference with a win over Buffalo.  New England needs an Indy loss and a win over Chicago to take the central division.  Dallas wins the West with a win over San Francisco or a loss by Tennessee and have an outside shot at the conference.  Tennessee can win the West with a win over Minnesota and Dallas loss.  Buffalo takes the East with a win over Indianapolis or a Denver loss and would be the three seed.  Denver is in the playoffs but can still win the East with a Buffalo loss and a win over Seattle.  Pittsburgh hosts Detroit and look to knock them out of the playoffs while San Diego visits Tampa Bay.  Cleveland is in Houston and NY Jets have Arizona in town.

Coming up in the NFC New Orleans wraps up the #1 overall seed with a win over Jacksonville or a Seattle loss.  Seattle can get the #1 overall seed with a New Orleans loss and a win over Denver otherwise they are #2 and have a bye.  St.Louis wins the Central with a win over Green Bay or a Kansas City loss. Kansas City can win the Central with a win over Miami and a St. Louis loss.  Carolina is the #4 seed and will have a home game and finish up with Philadelphia in town.  Detroit is in the playoffs and can finish either #5 or #6 depending on how the Central shakes out.  NY Giants host Atlanta and Arizona visits NY Jets.  Tampa Bay hosts San Diego.
