I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Love when I get games in a day early, makes things so much easier for me to get things out on time, so keep up the good work. Please keep up with game contacts and if you are having issues, let me know asap so I can help get things rolling. Just 4 weeks left in the season and after this week we get the bye week for US Thanksgiving so 2 weeks to get games done. Games are more important than ever, so please, get these games done hth and give them your all to try and get the win. Also, we have a new owner in LA as Dan Roach is taking over the Chargers as of this week and can be reached at Go_Utes@comcast.net so please welcome him to the league and his opponent should contact him for the game this week.

With 4 weeks left, a quick playoff update as we have a couple of spots clinched already. In the AFC, Denver is still in the #1 seed with a 1 ½ lead on Pittsburgh due to the tiebreaker while Pittsburgh has clinched the Central and has a 2 game lead for the #2 seed. Tennessee, San Francisco and LA Chargers are all tied at the top of the West with the winner likely the #3 seed and the other two could all be tied for the #4 spot in the playoffs with Buffalo and Cleveland depending on this weeks results. Green Bay and NY Jets are a game out tied for 8th and Minnesota is 1 ½ back due to their tie. Dallas is mathematically alive, but has to make up 2 ½ games and jump 3 teams to get in and could be out with a loss this week. In the NFC, NY Giants are the #1 seed, but have a slim lead on New England who holds the tiebreaker sitting at #2. New Orleans and Arizona are tied for the West and #3 seed, with the loser of this weeks game dropping to #5 seed. Kansas City is the #4 seed right now and Carolina is the #6 seed. #7 seed is a 3 way tie with Seattle, Houston and Philadelphia  and Atlanta is a game back from them with an outside chance at a spot after a very slow start to the season.

Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up smoothly. If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game in.  Make sure you have the latest action update which is available on the website.  Game files are up for Week 12, so make sure you go download them and start making contact for week 12 games. If you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too far into things.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 11/2/24 ***

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.
