I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

The bye week is here for Thanksgiving, hope you all have a great holiday. It also means we have just 3 weeks left in the season and while the top teams appear to be pulling away it appears the wild card spots will go right down to the final week before anything is decided.  In the AFC Houston, Indi and San Fran all appear to be locked into the playoffs and have big leads in their divisions.  In the NFC Carolina, Philly and New Orleans are in the playoffs while Jacksonville is in control of the East and St. Louis holds a slim lead in the Central.

I am looking for potential owners right now if you know anyone who is interested in the league, I need an owner in Dallas and would like some names to get ready in case we have more openings after the season.  Game files are located on the website and are ready for week 15.  Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no later than Thursday of each week.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/31/17 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC Houston keeps on rolling with a good win over St. Louis to stay on top of the East and San Francisco just gets by Detroit to stay up top in the West.  Indianapolis doubles up the Jets while New England stops San Diego to keep pace.  Tennessee beats Minnesota while Dallas ends up on top of NY Giants to keep pace for both teams in the West.  Pittsburgh loses late to Chicago and Denver beats Cleveland to hurt the Browns playoff chances.  Buffalo beats Miami to move out of the basement in the East.

In the NFC Carolina beasts New Orleans and Philadelphia falls to Arizona to keep things tight and put the Panthers on top.  Jacksonville shuts out Seattle and Atlanta falls to Green Bay while Detroit loses to San Francisco and the Jags have a 2 game lead in the East.  St. Louis loses to Houston but Kansas City also drops one to Tampa Bay and nothing changes in the Central.  NY Giants lost to Dallas.

Coming up in the AFC Houston can clinch the East with a win over Chicago while NY Jets try to stay alive against Buffalo.  San Francisco hosts Seattle in the West while Tennessee is in San Diego and Dallas heads to Atlanta as both teams try and get back to the Niners.  Indianapolis can win the division with a win over Pittsburgh of the lead can drop to 1 game with their loss and New England hosts Denver trying to catch up to the Colts.  Minnesota hosts Detroit and Cleveland hosts St. Louis trying to stay alive in the wild card spot which is Dallas sitting at 8-5.

Coming up in the NFC Jacksonville hosts Philadelphia and Detroit heads to Minnesota and Atlanta hosts Dallas as they both try and catch the Jags.  Carolina heads to Arizona with their slim lead out West with Philly trying to catch them and New Orleans hosting Tampa Bay and hoping to get back to the top.  St. Louis visits Cleveland while Kansas City is in Miami as both try to win the Central division.  Green Bay travels to NY Giants and Seattle heads South to San Francisco.
