I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 13 is done and again you guys make my job easy by having them all in on time. Thanks to those who have helped with subbing this season, I appreciate that help.  This is a two week block for games as we have our bye week for the Thanksgiving holiday and enjoy a little break before the playoff races finish off.  If your opponent is not available, please ask for a sub and make sure the games are getting played HTH. FYI Jeff/Philly is out of the loop for a bit, so please email him for a game contact and if he doesn’t answer within a day or two let me know and get a sub to play the game til he is back up to speed. Also Wade Fossum will be playing games for Green Bay until further notice, so please contact him rather than Scott. Can New Orleans complete the perfect season and will Atlanta break their goose egg? Game files are located on the website and are ready for week 15.  Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no later than Thursday of each week.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/08/16 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC Tennessee sneaks by Dallas to get within 1 game in the standings at the top of the West.  Indianapolis gets by Chicago and New England whips up on Jacksonville and they stay even in the Central heading to their huge week 15 matchup.  Buffalo beats the Jets and Denver is shocked by Houston and the Bills pull a game free in the East.  Pittsburgh falls at the NY Giants and San Francisco struggles against Cleveland with both teams wasting a huge chance to move into a playoff position.  Minnesota pulls the upset on San Diego to really hurt the Chargers playoff chances.

In the NFC New Orleans takes their first loss in a huge offensive matchup with Carolina who moves within 2 games in the West.  St. Louis beats Miami and Kansas City beats Green Bay with little changing in the Central and the Rams holding the key to the division.  Seattle avoids the upset by Atlanta to move to 11-2 and NY Giants drop the Pittsburgh Steelers to keep pace.  Detroit wins at Philadelphia to stay in a tie for the final playoff slot.  Jacksonville falls in New England and Arizona beats Tampa Bay.

Coming up in the AFC New England is in Indianapolis with the winner taking control of the Central as well as the top spot in the conference.  Dallas heads to Green Ba y with a 1 game lead over Tennessee who travels to Buffalo who needs the win to stay ahead of Denver who visits Cleveland. Pittsburgh is in Chicago as they try and keep their fading playoff prospects alive and San Francisco does the same in San Diego.  Houston hosts the NY Jets and Minnesota has Kansas City in town.

Coming up in the NFC New Orleans can still clinch the West with a win at Tampa Bay and a Carolina loss at Detroit.  St. Louis can do the same as they host Arizona while Kansas City has Minneosota in town as they try and stay with the Rams.  Seattle and the NY Giants match up with the division on the line or the Giants trying to stay alive.  Detroit needs a win over Carolina and some help with Kansas City losing in Minnesota. Miami visits Jacksonville as both teams play for pride and Philadelphia tries to keep Atlanta winless.
