MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Now,
on to the playoffs, the Wild Card Round is all set and we have some
interesting matchups, some new and some renewing old rivalries and we
try and whittle down to just 8 teams for round 2. Pittsburgh is sitting
at the #2 see with the LA Chargers hoping to get revenge for a week 8
loss in the regular season. LA Rams also have a win over Green Bay in
the regular season, so will be interesting to see if there is a
different result in the playoffs. Denver and Dallas did not meet during
the season and with both teams dealing with a number of injuries for
their game, it is going to be tough to pick a winner in this one.
Jacksonville also holds a win over Arizona and with both teams near full
strength, this will come down to what kind of play the Cards can get
from the Winston/Lock duo at QB. New Orleans was steam roller most of
the season while Kansas City struggled and just got to the playoffs, but
both are in good shape for bodies and this should be an easy win for the
Saints, but that is why we play the games. NY Giants and Carolina did
not meet in the regular season and both teams are pretty healthy, and
this one should be a barn burner if Carolina can get any play out of
Carr at QB.

And
the end of the regular season is here with some interesting results on
who gets in the playoffs and who misses. Tennessee and New England lock
up the byes and get the week off. Pittsburgh and Denver win in the AFC
to lock up their divisions and home field while New Orleans and
Jacksonville do the same in the NFC.
NY Giants and LA Rams are the other two teams with a home game in
the Wild Card round. Buffalo is the odd man out in the AFC with a loss
to Green Bay and Kansas City squeaks into the NFC playoffs as a depleted
Atlanta team can’t put up much of a fight against NY Giants. Look for a
playoff newsletter by Sunday and then teams can get a jump on those
games if they want to.
The
Lottery order is set and Miami will have the best chance of picking #1
this season. Here is the list of teams who didn’t make the playoffs.
Lottery will occur before the Super Bowl.

Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget
to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up
smoothly. Let’s see if we
can hit the first week deadline with all games played head to head and
as always if you need help let us know.
If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me
asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game
in. Make sure you have the
latest action update which is available on the website.
Game files are up for the start of the regular season, so make
sure you go download them and start making contact for round 1 games. If
you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too
far into things.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.
