MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Couple quick things guys before playoff race updates. Game contacts, if
you don’t CC me, it makes it much harder for me to help you guys get
games set up. Keep me in the loop and I can easily decide who gets a sub
or maybe just facilitate contacts. And playing games hth, this has
slipped pretty badly, I have had to sim multiple games the last few
weeks and that’s disappointing. I am sorry if some teams are having a
tough season, but you still signed up to play in a hth league, you don’t
only have to do that when you team is good, but every week. Let’s step
it up the last 3 weeks as I am keeping track of who isn’t playing their
games and penalties are always possible. Let’s do better and have some
fun as the season is coming to a close and the holidays are here. Don’t
forget, this is the bye week. I have put out files, so if it works, go
ahead and play, if it doesn’t, you still have next week to get your game
in and enjoy the holiday if you choose to.
New
Orleans sits at 14-0 an can win the conference outright with a win over
New England in week 16. The Patriots likely clinch the #2 slot win or
lose due to tiebreakers and NY Giants and Jacksonville continue to
jockey for the top of the East though the Jags have a touch matchup with
the Chargers. Carolina looks to lock into the 4 of 5 spot with a visit
to Atlanta who needs the game to stay alive for 7th. Arizona
is 6th and with a win at Tampa Bay likely won’t fall further.
Kansas City is tied with Atlanta for 7th and have an easier
matchup with NY Jets. Everyone else is done in the NFC.
LA
Rams look to be the top team in the AFC right now, but they have a tough
matchup with Tennessee, so we may get some concrete answers on who is
better in that one. LA Chargers are also right there and with a tough
game at Jacksonville that leaves Pittsburgh sitting in 4th
right now hoping for a win over Chicago and some help to maybe move to
the top of the division in the Central. Denver gets a tough test from
San Francisco who is fighting or 7th and Buffalo hosts
Indianapolis as they try and move a game ahead of Denver again. Green
Bay is in Miami as they try and solidify their hold on the final playoff
spot but Dallas hosts Minnesota as they try and keep pace as it looks
like all 7 AFC teams in the playoffs will be over .500 this season.
Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget
to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up
smoothly. Let’s see if we
can hit the first week deadline with all games played head to head and
as always if you need help let us know.
If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me
asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game
in. Make sure you have the
latest action update which is available on the website.
Game files are up for the start of the regular season, so make
sure you go download them and start making contact for week 16 games. If
you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too
far into things.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.
