MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
With
just 6 weeks left, time to start talking about playoff races and you
can’t start that up without pointing out New Orleans at 11-0 with a 2
game lead in the NFC. Patriots almost have the Central wrapped up and NY
Giants and Jacksonville are still scrapping for the stop spot in the
East. Carolina is in good shape as well, while there are 3 others who
look to be fighting it out for the final 2 wild car spots. In the AFC,
Tennessee and LA Chargers continue to battle at the top of the West and
you know their next meeting is going to likely decide the winner.
Pittsburgh has caught back up to the LA Rams in the Central, but still
have work to do with the Rams holding the tie breaker right now. Buffalo
and Denver are on top of the East by 2 games and likely will continue
that battle to the end of the season leaving 5 teams at either 6-5 of
5-6 fighting for the final playoff spot more than likely. More to come
as the bye week approaches.
Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget
to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up
smoothly. Let’s see if we
can hit the first week deadline with all games played head to head and
as always if you need help let us know.
If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me
asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game
in. Make sure you have the
latest action update which is available on the website.
Game files are up for the start of the regular season, so make
sure you go download them and start making contact for week 12 games. If
you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too
far into things.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
In the AFC, LA Chargers doubles up Chicago and Tennessee beats up
Minnesota to stay on top of the West and the conference. Pittsburgh runs
away from Tampa and LA Rams get skunked by New Orleans and they sit tied
at the top of the Central. Buffalo wins easily over Denver to tie things
up at the top of the East and Green Bay wins big over San Franciso.
Dallas falls to the NY Giants in a tight one and Cleveland falls to the
NY jets by the same score. Indianapolis loses to Philadelphia to stay
near the bottom of the standings.
In the NFC, New Orleans just keeps on rolling to 11-0 over LA Rams and
Carolina to Arizona in the West leaving the Saints 3 games up. New
England flies past Miami and Kansas City beats Houston but that is still
a 4 game lead for the Pats with 6 games to play. NY Giants just get by
Dallas and Jacksonville stumbles against Atlanta for the G-men to move
to the top of the East. Detroit beats Seattle in their first game under
new ownership and Philadelphia beats Indy. Tampa Bay has a tough day
against Pittsburgh to stay at just 1 win.
Coming up in the AFC, Tennessee heads to Indianapolis and LA Chargers
play at a tough Dallas team in the battle for the West. Pittsburgh has
their always scary visit from Chicago and LA Rams get a tough matchup
with San Francisco as they fight for the Central. Buffalo hosts NY Jets
in the division and Denver heads for another tough divisional matchup in
Cleveland as they both try and get on top of the East. Green Bay hosts
Houston and Minnesota heads to Jacksonville.
