I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Season 29 is here and games are ready to go! Thanks to all for sticking around for another season and welcome to our new owners with the Chargers and Dolphins. Good luck Ray and Stewart, both have shown to be solid owners already and ready to jump right in with this group that will test them. A lot to work on going forward, so get started with those game contacts and let’s have our best head to head season we have ever had. I will be keeping track of the subs this year unless someone else wants to take on that duty, so feel free to get your own subs if you can, but let me know if you need help and also be sure I know whenever someone subs so I can keep it on the list. Hank and his Broncos will look for the three-peat but as always, there will be plenty of teams to give him a challenge as he fights through some roster change to try and stay at the top. Make sure you have the latest game update before playing games.

Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up smoothly.  Let’s see if we can hit the first week deadline with all games played head to head and as always if you need help let us know.  If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game in.  Make sure you have the latest action update which is available on the website.  Game files are up for the start of the regular season, so make sure you go download them and start making contact for week 1 games. If you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too far into things.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 07/22/25 ***

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

With all games crossovers this week, just going to do a single paragraph with all of the matchups, will switch to each conference in week 2!

Denver again has a tough matchup to start with against New England in week 1 and the NY Giants host San Francisco as they try again to win a Championship. Pittburgh visits New Orleans, while Green Bay travels to Kansas City. Buffalo has a game in Arizona and Minnesota heads south to Carolina. Tennessee and Philadelphia play with Hurts making his return to the City of Brotherly Love and LA Chargers head North to Seattle. Cleveland is off to Atlanta and Chicago and Houston get together in a matchup of rebuilding squads. Dallas visits Detroit and NY Jets head to the Sunshine State to play Jacksonville. LA Rams and Tampa Bay face off in Florida while the battle of last year’s cellar dwellers is Indianapolis at Miami.

Look for game summaries after week 1!
