I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

A quarter of the way through the season and down to just two teams without a loss but 4 teams still looking for their first win. Slipping a bit closer to the deadline with games, please, try and get games at least scheduled so I know what is going on for deadline day each week. Obviously easier for me if all games are in Sunday, but if you need Monday, please at least make sure I know it is scheduled so I can figure out my plan for getting new files out.

Please make sure to get started on game contacts asap and don’t forget to CC me on all of them so I can make sure games are getting set up smoothly.  .  If you need a sub, feel free to find your own sub or contact me asap so we can try and get you hooked up with someone to get your game in.  Make sure you have the latest action update which is available on the website.  Game files are up for Week 5, so make sure you go download them and start making contact for week 5 games. If you have any questions, now is the time, so please ask before we get too far into things.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 09/09/24 ***

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

Pittsburgh tries to get some space in the Central as they head to Indianapolis and Chicago gets a tough trip to Kansas City. LA Rams try to get better with a visit from Miami and NY Jets and Buffalo battle to stay out of the East basement. Dallas looks for a second win as they get a visit from Philly.

Coming up in the NFC NY Giants look for 5-0 with a tough visit from Green Bay and Jacksonville tries to not fall further back as they take on a winless Detroit squad. New England has Houston in town and Kansas City gets a visit from Chicago in the battle for the Central top spot. Arizona tries to get back to winning with a visit from division rival Carolina and New Orleans heads to face the tough offense of Tampa Bay.
