I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Another week has come and gone and we have just 5 weeks of the regular season left to go.  Playoff races are in full swing, though in the AFC there is really only a few teams still alive with maybe one with an outside shot (Buffalo) and in the NFC pretty much the same thing with just Green Bay with an outside chance of making it in.  Please, there are 5 weeks left to play and I ask all owners to do your best to be available for every game. Stuff happens and occasionally a team needs a sub, we all get that, but just don’t make it a habit because your team isn’t good enough to compete.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 11/05/20 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC Tennessee gets an easy win over NY Jets to stay on top of the West as LA Chargers fall a game back with a tight loss to Indianapolis.  Houston gets a big win over Pittsburgh and extends their lead to 3 games as Denver falls vs Cleveland.  New England tops Dallas to move into a tie at the top of the Central with Indy a game back and Buffalo upsets Seattle to stay in the playoff race.  Chicago gives LA Rams their first win of the season and Minnesota falls to San Francisco in the West.

In the NFC New Orleans wins big over Tampa Bay and Carolina tops Philadelphia to stay within 2 games of the top of the West.  Kansas City wins a nail biter of the NY Giants and have all but clinched the Central with Green Bay getting a win over Miami but sitting 5 games back with 5 to play.  Seattle falls to Buffalo but stays in the lead in the East and Jacksonville beats Arizona to move into a tie atop the East.  Detroit gets their third win over Atlanta and LA Rams get their first win of the season over Chicago.

Coming up this week in the AFC Houston can finish off Buffalo and put a stranglehold on the East as Denver visits Tampa Bay though likely looking to solidify their wild card positioning at this point.  Tennessee hosts 1-win Minnesota as they try and keep their lead in the West while LA Chargers have a tough matchup with New Orleans in town.  Pittsburgh will try and avoid an upset with Cleveland in town while New England tries to keep pace with a visit to the NY Jets.  Indianapolis is in Chicago with the Colts fighting for both the division and the wild card and San Francisco heads to Carolina.  Dallas hosts Arizona looking for a second win on the season.

Coming up this week in the NFC Kansas City clinches the division with a win over the LA Rams while Green Bay tries to stay alive in the wild card race as they head to Jacksonville.  Seattle visits Atlanta trying to avoid the upset and stay on top of the East and NY Giants do the same as they head to Detroit.  New Orleans gets a tough test as they head west to face the LA Chargers and Carolina hosts San Francisco trying to stay in the division race and on top of the wild card teams.  Philadelphia and Miami match up both looking to fight for .500 and Arizona heads to Dallas to round out the slate.
