I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Divisional round is done and this time the upsets occur in the AFC as the top two seeds are gone while in the NFC the games go to form and we get 1 vs 2 in the championship game. Get going on game contacts and good luck to all who are still alive. For the rest of you, look for some more info from me this weekend on ballot voting and also on voting for the league awards.

In the AFC Houston uses 3 Rosas FGs including one as time expires to get the win after New England had tied it with a FG from Succop with 37 seconds left and the Texans pull off the mild upset. The bigger upset comes as the Chargers who had rolled over pretty much everyone all season miss a late FG after a penalty nullifies a made one and then Denver scores their own FG from Butker with 6 seconds left to get the win and move on to Houston for the championship game.

In the NFC not much exciting in the first game as the Saints roll over the Eagles with a pair of early Lindsay TDs and then a pair of Wilson TD passes late and Philly could never get anything going in this one.  In the other game the after Carolina scores first the Giants build a 33-14 lead with 4 Goff TD passes and a Mack run but Carr finds Watkins and then Rudolph late to cut the lead to 5 points but despite a late interception the Panthers can’t do anything as Carr throws a pick of his own and we get #1 vs #2 in the NFC Championship game.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 1/9/20 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.
