MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
The
playoffs are here. Please go to the main page of the website and
download the playoff files. You need to save them in a new folder named
ISFL2019-Playoffs and then switch the game over to folder before playing
any games. When you play the game click on the Playoff Bracket button on
the main page and play the game from the playoff bracket page and then
report it as usual. Plenty
of time for round 1, so enjoy the holiday and then get after them
starting up this weekend and good luck to all teams involved. See the
playoff breakdown below for the matchups. Good luck to all!
In
the AFC the LA Chargers are the #1 seed and will have home field
throughout the AFC playoffs. New England holds the #2 seed based on the
hth tiebreaker and a week 3 win over Houston who won the East and will
be the #3 seed and host a wild card round playoff game.
Denver is locked into the #4 seed and will host the best of the
teams who sit tied at 8-8.
We ended up with 5 teams tied at 8-8 for the #5 and #6 seed and after
tiebreakers within the division Indy had a better division record than
Pittsburgh and San Francisco beat Tennessee twice to win the hth
tiebreaker in their division while Buffalo has no one tied in their
division. Indianapolis beat
San Francisco and Buffalo head to head and they are the #5 seed and will
head to Denver in round 1.
So that leaves us with Buffalo, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Tennessee
and again Tennessee gets eliminated due to their losses to the Niners.
No one swept the other two teams, so we move to the conference
records tiebreaker and San Francisco at 6-6 have the best (Buffalo (6-8)
and Pittsburgh (4-8) and the Niners squeak in as the #6 seed and will
head to Houston in round 1.
In
the NFC New Orleans has home field throughout as the top seed and NY
Giants hold the #2 seed and join the Saints on a bye in the first round
of the playoffs. LA Rams and
Green Bay ended up tied in the Central and they split the season series
but the Rams ended up 4-2 in the division, one better than the Packers
and the Rams get the #3 seed and host a first round game.
Jacksonville wins in week 17 and locks up the 4th seed
and a home game with Carolina who is the #5 seed.
Philadelphia is the final team in and will travel to LA Rams for
their first round matchup.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more
likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
Guys, this section will get back to normal as soon as I have more time
on my plate to get things done, for now I will focus on getting game
files out and the website updated as best I can. Thanks for your
