I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Final week of the season and the playoff races are clear as mud, especially in the AFC where there are still 7 teams fighting for the final two playoff slots.  In the NFC everything is set except for the NFC Central where three teams can still win the division!  Guys, please keep in mind that if you are the road team and you don’t hear from your opponent, there is nothing stopping you from emailing them and getting the game set up. If you don’t hear by Wednesday night, please be sure to send them a contact email and include me and we can try and avoid some more of these simmed games. Good luck to all in the final week, please try as much as you can to get these final games in hth.

In the AFC the LA Chargers as the #1 seed and have home field throughout.  New England and Houston both have clinched their division and NE holds the tie breaker for the second bye.  Denver has clinched the #4 seed and will host a home game in the wild card round. Buffalo and Tennessee sit tied for 5th and hold the final two playoff spots but there are 5 teams just 1 game back including NY Jets, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Houston and San Francisco so anything can still happen.

In the NFC New Orleans is the #1 seed and NY Giants are the #2 seed.  Jacksonville and Carolina are tied for #4 and Philadelphia sits in the 6th and final playoff spot.  The #3 seed is still up for grabs with LA Rams and Green Bay tied at the top of the Central and Kansas City just a game back looking for both teams to slip.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/18/19 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

Guys, this section will get back to normal as soon as I have more time on my plate to get things done, for now I will focus on getting game files out and the website updated as best I can. Thanks for your patience.
