MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Three
weeks to go in the season and this one is extra long due to the
Thanksgiving holiday here, so games aren’t due until Monday, December 9th.
I really want to ask everyone to try and do better at making game
contacts and please CC me on all of those emails as it is hard for me to
know what is going on if you don’t keep me in the loop.
I need everyone, even the teams who know their seasons are over
to do their best and get games in hth, just too many games being simmed
this year (yeah, I know I am a big culprit but can’t be avoided here and
most others can be). We will
address this further in the offseason, but please, let’s keep this fair
for all the rest of the way and play these to the best of our ability.
Good luck!
In
the AFC Los Angeles Chargers have clinched the West and can clinch the
top spot in the conference with a win and New England has clinched the
Central and Houston leads the East and both are tied for second in the
conference. Denver is a game back in the East and in the first wildcard
position and then Buffalo and Tennessee are tied for 5th and
the final two playoff spots.
NY Jets are a game back and sit alone just outside of the playoffs with
Indy, San Franciso and Pittsburgh two games out and barely on life
support with 3 games to play.
In
the NFC New Orleans has clinched a playoff spot and leads the West by a
game, same for New York Giants in the East.
LA Rams sit at 6-7 but lead the Central by a game and will be the
only team from that division in the playoffs if they hold on but have
both GB and KC right behind them so that division will come down to the
wire. Carolina and
Philadelphia are tied out West and Jacksonville has the same record with
them all sitting in the first wild card spot and 3 games up on Arizona
who could be eliminated this coming with either with wins by those three
teams or a loss of their own.
Everyone else is done and fighting for lottery position.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more
likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
Guys, this section will get back to normal as soon as I have more time
on my plate to get things done, for now I will focus on getting game
files out and the website updated as best I can. Thanks for your
patience.
