MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Thanks guys for getting everything in on time, just 5 weeks left in the
regular season, so hopefully everyone stays on task and we can keep the
hth games flowing to the end of the season. Playoff races are in full
swing now with the NY Giants pulling away a bit in the NFC, followed by
St. Louis and then 4 teams with 8 wins and then everyone else at least 3
games back of that. In the
AFC New England clinches the Central with their 11th straight
win, while Dallas is a game clear in the West and the East is a dead
heat between the Jets and Texans.
After that you have 4 teams fighting for the final two playoff
spots over these final 5 games.
Miami and Minnesota continue the hunt for the first win of the
season and trying to avoid the goose egg.
Game
files are located on the website for week 12.
Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home
teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no
later than Thursday of each week.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more
likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
This week in the NFC NY Giants win their big test over Jacksonville for
a 2 game lead in the East and St. Louis just gets by Green Bay for a
stranglehold in the Central.
Philadelphia ties Detroit but it is enough to stay a half game up out
West as Carolina takes down New Orleans and all 3 teams are right at the
top of the division. Arizona
beats Minnesota and Tampa Bay falls to San Francisco.
Seattle loses to the NY Jets and Atlanta beats Buffalo for their
second win of the season.
Miami stays winless against Chicago and Kansas City drops one to New
England.
Coming up in the AFC New England gets a visit from Cleveland and
Pittsburgh tries to stop the losing skid with a visit from Chicago.
Dallas faces winless Minnesota and Tennessee tries to keep pace
against a reeling New Orleans club.
Houston is in San Francisco and NY Jets head to Atlanta as both
try to avoid the upset and stay on top of the East.
Denver travels to Seattle and tries to stay in the playoff hunt
while Buffalo and San Diego try to keep their own slim chances alive.
Indianapolis hosts a streaking St. Louis team and tries to right
their ship with Rodgers back on the field.
Coming up in the NFC NY Giants host Kansas City and Jacksonville tries
to stop Detroit and keep in touch with the top of the division.
Carolina comes off their big win over the Saints with another
tough test in Philadelphia and New Orleans travels to Kansas City as the
West may just get tighter.
Green Bay is really the only team left with a shot at the playoffs and
try to keep Miami from their first win and Arizona hosts Tampa Bay.
Atlanta gets a visit from the NY Jets and Seattle hosts Denver.
