I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 12 is complete and all the games were in early, thanks a bunch for that guys, it makes my job so much easier.  If your opponent is not available, please ask for a sub and make sure the games are getting played HTH. FYI Jeff/Philly is out of the loop for a bit, so please email him for a game contact and if he doesn’t answer within a day or two let me know and get a sub to play the game til he is back up to speed. Also Wade Fossum will be playing games for Green Bay until further notice, so please contact him rather than Scott. Can New Orleans complete the perfect season and will Atlanta break their goose egg? Game files are located on the website and are ready for week 13.  Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no later than Thursday of each week.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/08/16 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC New England downs Pittsburgh to stay on top of the Central and leave the Steelers struggling for a playoff slot.  Indianapolis finishes off Minnesota and keeps pace with the Patriots while Chicago gets by Houston with just 3 FGs of offense.  Buffalo beat Philadelphia and Denver tops NY Jets as both teams stay even at the top of the East.  Dallas doubles up San Diego while Tennessee wins at Miami to stay within two games of the Cowboys in the West.  San Francisco wins big over Green Bay and Cleveland loses in New Orleans.

In the NFC New Orleans downs Cleveland to stay unbeaten and Carolina beats Arizona to keep pace in the West.  Seattle whips Tampa Bay and NY Giants keep Atlanta unbeaten as they try and stay with the Seahawks.  St. Louis beats Kansas City for a two game lead in the Central and Detroit shuts out Jacksonville to keep their playoff hopes alive in a tie with KC for the final playoff slot.  Miami can’t stay with Tennessee and Green Bay falls in San Francisco.  Philadelphia loses to Buffalo.

Coming up in the AFC Indianapolis hosts Chicago and New England has Jacksonville in town as they continue to set up a huge showdown in week 15 for the top slot in the Central.  Dallas will go to Tennessee and can clinch the division with a win or the Titans can cut the lead down to one. Buffalo is at the NY Jets and Denver hosts Houston as they try to gain an advantage in the East.  Pittsburgh will try and keep their playoff chances alive as they visit the NY Giants and San Francisco hosts Cleveland to try and do the same.  San Diego visits Minnesota to round out the schedule.

Coming up in the NFC New Orleans can clinch the division in Carolina and keep their perfect season alive.  Seattle has Atlanta in town and can win the division with a win and NY Giants loss against Pittsburgh.  St. Louis visits Miami and Kansas City hosts Green Bay as the Central can either be over or tighten up depending on the results.  Detroit is in Philadelphia as they try and stay in the wild card hunt and Arizona and Tampa Bay meet with the lost likely off to the golf course.  Jacksonville will try and pull the big upset as they face off with New England.
