I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 9 is complete and all of the games were early, really appreciate that guys.  If your opponent is not available, please ask for a sub and make sure the games are getting played HTH. FYI Jeff/Philly is out of the loop for a bit, so please email him for a game contact and if he doesn’t answer within a day or two let me know and get a sub to play the game til he is back up to speed. Also Wade Fossum will be playing games for Green Bay until further notice, so please contact him rather than Scott. New Orleans is the only team unbeaten now and Atlanta the only team stills searching for their first win. Game files are located on the website and are ready for week 10.  Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no later than Thursday of each week.

Week 10 is the trade deadline, so all deals must be confirmed by both parties on Monday, October 31st by 10 pm eastern or they didn’t happen.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/08/16 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC Indianapolis downs NY Giants and New England tops Detroit to stay tied on top of the Central.  Dallas crushes Minnesota and Tennessee keeps pace with a big divisional win over San Diego.  Denver runs away from NY Jets and Buffalo stays within a game by taking down Carolina in the East.  Pittsburgh wins big over Cleveland to stay in the final playoff slot and San Francisco blows out Kansas City to stay within shouting distance of the playoffs.  Chicago beats Jacksonville and Houston falls in a close one to Philadelphia.

In the NFC New Orleans just keeps on rolling, this time over Miami, while Carolina falls to Buffalo and are 2 games out in the division. Seattle stumbles against St. Louis and Kansas City is blown out by San Francisco as they lose ground in the Central.  NY Giants fall to Indianapolis and Detroit finds the same fate in New England but both lose no ground in the East. Tampa Bay wins big over Arizona and Jacksonville falls to Chicago.  Philadelphia squeaks by Houston and Green Bay beats Atlanta to keep the Falcons winless.

Coming up in the AFC Indianapolis will look to extend the Falcons winless streak and New England heads to a much tougher match up in Denver.  Buffalo will try and keep pace with the Broncos as they host NY Jets and Pittsburgh is in Houston looking for a 7th win.  Dallas hosts Miami and Tennessee has the Packers in town as they try and keep pace in the West.  San Francisco has St. Louis visiting and San Diego hosts Minnesota as both try to keep their disappearing playoff chances alive.  Chicago heads to Detroit and Cleveland visits Philly.

Coming up in the NFC New Orleans hosts Carolina in the West and could just about wrap up the division with a win while the Panthers would be right back in it if they pull the upset.  St. Louis heads to San Francisco and Kansas City hosts Tampa Bay in the fight at the top of the Central.  Seattle tries to get back on track against the Giants who hope to cut into their lead and Detroit has Chicago in town as they try to keep playoff hopes alive.  Miami is in Dallas and Arizona travels to Jacksonville.  Philadelphia hosts Cleveland and Atlanta will try again to break the donut against Indianapolis. Green Bay travels down to Tennessee to try for their third win.
