I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 3 is in the books and everyone again got all of the games in on time (or close enough).  Still some new teams getting wins that maybe weren’t expected and others taking some tough losses. Game files are located on the website and are ready for week 4.  Please make sure you get started on game contacts asap, home teams should make contact by Wednesday and the game should be set up no later than Thursday of each week.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 05/24/16 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC Dallas gets a big win to take over the top spot in the west all alone as San Francisco drops their first one while Buffalo stays undefeated with a very close win over Minnesota.  Indianapolis downs Jacksonville to stay unbeaten atop the Central and Tennessee wins big over Kansas city.  Pittsburgh gets by San Diego and New England scores a ton against the NY Jets as both get to 2-1 to keep pace with the Colts.  Cleveland falls to Carolina and Denver is beaten by Chicago and they all sit at 1-2. Houston stays winless as they lose to the Cards.

In the NFC Carolina beats Cleveland and New Orleans gives the Giants their first loss as both teams move to 3-0 atop the West.  Seattle keeps on rolling with a win over Atlanta and Detroit drops Green Bay to stay within a game in the East.  Arizona wins over Houston and Tampa Bay drops Philly to 0-3.  Kansas City loses badly to Tennessee and St. Louis gets their first win over Miami but no one really wants to take control as even Miami at 0-3 is within a game of the division lead. Jacksonville falls to Indy and drops to 0-3 as well.

Coming up in the AFC Dallas tries to stay unbeaten against San Diego and Buffalo does the same with Cleveland in town.  Indianapolis will try and beat Denver to hold off the winner of Pittsburgh at New England.  Tennessee and San Francisco face off to try and keep pace with Dallas and NY Jets try to keep Minnesota from their first victory.  Houston hosts New Orleans and Chicago has New Orleans in town.

Coming up in the NFC Seattle hosts Detroit at the top of the East and NY Giants are in Chicago as all three teams jockey for position at the top.  Carolina has a visit from Kansas City and New Orleans visits Houston.  Philly tries for their first win in Arizona and Tampa Bay hosts St. Louis as the NFC West continues to heat up.  Green Bay is at Miami as the battle to stay out of the Central basement continues and Atlanta and Jacksonville face off with the loser dropping to 0-4 for the season.
