MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
The
AFC is almost set as Tennessee clinches a playoff slot, leaving a bunch
of teams fighting for the final spot.
Philadelphia, New Orleans and Detroit all clinch playoff spots in
the NFC and there are still 5 teams fighting for the final 3 spots. Be
sure if you have trouble hooking up that you get a plan in place and
contact me for a sub if needed.
Just two weeks left in the season!
Thanks for the great work guys!
I have updated files on the website for week 16, go ahead and get
those and start making your game contacts for the week, with home team
making contact by Tuesday and the games hopefully being set up by
Wednesday.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things moving along if it is missing at the deadline.
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more
likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
In
the AFC, Indianapolis wins again over Miami and San Diego does the same
in their divisional matchup with Dallas to take a 1 game lead in the
West. Denver beats Minnesota
to clinch the East and Tennessee wins over New England to clinch a
playoff slot. Cleveland
falls to Detroit but still hold on to the final playoff slot in the AFC
with a 1 game lead over Buffalo who beat the NY Jets and Houston who
fell to Jacksonville.
Pittsburgh beats Chicago in OT and San Francisco falls to Philadelphia.
Week
16 in the AFC San Diego heads to Cleveland and Dallas hosts Minnesota.
Indianapolis travels to St. Louis and Denver is in Houston.
Tennessee is on the road in San Francisco and New England has
Buffalo in town. Pittsburgh
heads to Green Bay and Chicago hosts the NY Jets.
Week
16 in the NFC Arizona is in Philadelphia and New Orleans hosts Carolina
as they fight for the top West slot.
Detroit heads to Miami and Atlanta has the NY Giants in town.
Tampa Bay travels to Kansas City and Green Bay will try and keep
pace with the Steelers in town.
Seattle hosts Jacksonville in a huge matchup for the final
playoff slot in the NFC. St.
Louis matches up with Indianapolis
The
playoff races have Indianapolis in first place, tied with San Diego on
top of the conference.
Denver clinched East and likely has a lock on the 3rd seed
and a home game in round 1.
Dallas hosts Minnesota as they try not to let the Chargers get away.
Tennessee likely will clinch the 5th seed with a win over San
Francisco. Cleveland will
try and beat San Diego as they look to wrap up the 5th seed
with Buffalo and Houston sitting in 7th and needing a win to
stay alive. A bunch of teams
at 4-10 who are still mathematically alive but likely drop out this week
and New England and Chicago are likely done for the season.
The
NFC is Philadelphia has Arizona in town and New Orleans has Carolina in
town as they both fight for the West and the top seed.
Detroit is also in the conversation and need a win over Miami to
keep pace. Atlanta tries to
lock down the 5th seed as they try for a win over the NY
Giants. Kansas City hosts
Tampa Bay and Green Bay does the same for Pittsburgh as they try and
lock down the Central.
Jacksonville wants the sixth seed and must win over Seattle who also
need the win and they could move to the final slot.
Everyone else is on the outside looking in.
