MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
The
regular season is complete, thanks to everyone for another great season!
Enjoy the holidays and I will get playoff files out asap for the
Wild Card round of games.
Good luck to all still in the playoffs.
For those not in, please hang around as I will have some final
things for you to complete before the season is over.
Be sure if you have trouble
hooking up to be sure you get a plan in place and a sub if needed.
Thanks for the great work guys!
I have updated files on the website for the end of the regular
season, go ahead and get those and start thinking about awards voting.
I will get playoff files out by Thursday and then you can get
started on your game contacts for the wild card games.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things.
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more
likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

This
week in the AFC New England wins a tight one over Denver to take the top
spot in the conference while Denver still locks into the #4 slot and a
home game in the Wild Card round.
Cleveland also wins a tough one over the NY Jets and the Browns
lock up the #2 seed while the Jets end up in the #5 in a hth tiebreaker
with San Diego. Dallas gets
a win over San Francisco to win the AFC West and the #3 seed.
They get a home game against San Diego who beats Tennessee and
wins the tiebreaker with Tennesee for the final playoff slot.
Chicago beats Indianapolis and Houston loses to Buffalo.
Minnesota falls to Detroit and the Steelers get steamrolled by
Philadelphia.
This
week in the NFC Jacksonville wins easily over Seattle to take the top
spot in the conference and Seattle locks into the #5 seed.
Philadelphia walks all over the Steelers to clinch the #2 seed
while Green Bay beats Tampa Bay and will be the #3 seed with a home Wild
Card game. Arizona wins over
New Orleans to get the #4 seed and a home game, while the Saints are out
of the playoffs with the loss. Detroit beat Minnesota to take the #6
seed Carolina beats St. Louis.
NY Giants beat Atlanta and Miami completes their perfect season
with a loss to Kansas City.
Coming up in the AFC we have the Wild Card round of games which match up
the San Diego Chargers at the Dallas Cowboys, two teams meeting for the
third time this year with the Chargers picking up a pair of wins so far
and looking for the sweep and an upset in round 1.
Denver hosts the NY Jets in the other Wild Card game, another
third meeting of the year for these two teams with the lower seed again
holding a regular season sweep and looking for a third straight win to
move on to the next round.
Coming up in the NFC Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions and once
again the lower seeded team holds the season series as the Lions upset
the Packers early and Green Bay will look for revenge and a date with
Philadelphia in round 2.
Seattle heads to Arizona in the other match up this one between two
teams who did not meet in the regular season this year but should
provided a good match up for both teams.
