MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
In
the NFC, Jacksonville, Green Bay, Philadephia, Seattle and Arizona are
all in the playoffs, while in the AFC, only New England, Cleveland and
Denver have for sure clinched a spot with 5 teams fighting it out for 3
spots left. Be sure if you have
trouble hooking up to be sure you get a plan in place and a sub if
needed. Thanks for the great
work guys! I have updated
files on the website, go ahead and get those and get started on your
game contacts for week 17.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things.
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more
likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
This
week in the AFC New England continues to roll towards the top spot and
with a win over Indianapolis but Cleveland keeps pace as they roll over
the Steelers. Tennessee
loses to San Francisco but Dallas can not take advantage as they drop
their game in San Diego, leaving all three teams still alive for the
division title. Denver gets
a big win over Green Bay and the NY Jets beat Houston as both teams
jockey for playoff positioning.
Chicago beats Buffalo and Minnesota drops a bad one in Seattle to
close out the conference.
This
week in the NFC Jacksonville wins big over the Giants and Philadelphia
does the same with St. Louis and the top seed will go down to the wire
it seems with week 17 deciding all.
Green Bay loses another tough one to Denver but still have locked
up the #3 seed and a home playoff game while Arizona eats Kansas City
and Seattle wins over Minnesota and both teams lock up playoff slots and
appear to be the 4th and 5th seeds.
New Orleans beats Carolina and keeps their half game lead on
Detroit who wins over Tampa Bay to stay alive for the final playoff
slot. Atlanta keeps Miami
winless in the final game for the conference.
Coming up in the AFC New England can lock up the #1 seed with a win over
Denver or a Cleveland loss to NY Jets.
Tennessee plays San Diego and Dallas plays San Francisco as the
three teams all fight it out for the West division as well as overall
playoff slots. Denver can
lock into the 4 seed with a win over the Patriots and NY Jets can lock
up a playoff spot with a win over Cleveland.
Indianapolis has an outside shot at a playoff spot if they can
beat Chicago and get some help.
San Francisco tries for a .500 season with a win over Dallas and
Houston plays Buffalo in the East.
Minnesota will try and knock the Lions out of the playoffs while
Pittsburgh will do what they can to hurt the Eagles chance at the top
spot in their conference.
Coming up in the NFC Jacksonville can lock up the #1 seed with a win
over Seattle or a Philadelphia loss to Pittsburgh.
Green Bay is locked into the #3 seed and will try for another win
over Tampa Bay while Arizona will play New Orleans to solidify the #4
slot while the Saints need the upset to get into the playoffs.
Detroit will play Minnesota needing a win and Saints loss to get
into the playoffs and Carolina hosts St. Louis after their 7th
win. Atlanta heads to the NY
Giants and Miami will try and find their first win of the season over
Kansas City.
