MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
In
the NFC, Jacksonville, Green Bay, Philadephia are all in the playoffs,
while in the AFC, only New England has for sure clinched a spot with 8
teams fighting it out for 5 spots left. Remember,
this is the bye week, so you have 2 weeks to get your games in, so enjoy
your Turkey and we’ll pick up the playoff races next week! Be sure if
you have trouble hooking up to be sure you get a plan in place and a sub
if needed. Thanks for the
great work guys! I have
updated files on the website, go ahead and get those and get started on
your game contacts for week 15.
I
can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game
export when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the
game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to
keep things.
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more
likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
This
week in the AFC New England wins a big test as they down the Eagles and
go to 13-0 on the season, 1 win away from clinching the top spot in the
conference. Cleveland wins
over Kansas City and Denver wins over Minnesota to keep the Broncos
alive in the East, though the Browns can wrap up the division with a win
this week as they hold the tiebreaker and this would also give them a
bye in round 1 more than likely.
Tennessee falls to Dallas and they sit tied on top of the West
with San Diego a game behind after a loss to the NY Jets who keep their
playoff chances alive.
Indianapolis wins over Pittsburgh and they sit tied for the final
playoff slot with NY and SD, making for an interesting final 3 weeks.
San Francisco is marginally alive with a close loss to
Jacksonville while Houston wins over Buffalo but is likely done as any
loss or win by the teams in front of them will finish them off.
Chicago falls to Arizona to round out the schedule.
This
week in the NFC Jacksonville wins a tough one over the Niners to move to
the top spot in the conference and they sit just a win away from
clinching the division.
Philadelphia loses for the first time in 10 weeks as they fall to the
Patriots and move into a tie with Green Bay for second in the conference
and can clinch their division with a win as they hold the tiebreaker
with Arizona who beat Chicago.
Seattle wins big over New Orleans and both them and Arizona are
almost all but in the playoffs with a 3 game lead on 7th
place. New Orleans sits in
the 6th spot with their loss and Detroit is a half game back
with a win over Atlanta.
Kansas City falls to Cleveland and St. Louis is beaten badly by the NY
Giants. Carolina loses to
Tampa Bay, putting a damper on their playoff hopes.
Miami still sits winless after dropping a bad one to Green Bay.
Coming up in the AFC New England will visit Tennessee, looking to clinch
the conference title, while Cleveland tries to stay alive with a tough
game against Green Bay.
Dallas with try for the West division lead against Minnesota knowing
that the Titans have a tough contest this week while San Diego looks to
get back in the mix with a tough one of their own against Jacksonville.
Denver heads to San Francisco, hoping the good Niners don’t show
up and spoil their playoff hopes and the NY Jets host Kansas City as
they try and move up into a playoff position.
Indianapolis heads to Buffalo to try and stay alive in the
playoffs as well. Pittsburgh
heads to Chicago with the Bears looking for some revenge and Houston
tries to keep Miami in the land of the winless.
Coming up in the NFC Jacksonville has a tough test with the Chargers
coming to town as they try and stay on top of the conference and Green
Bay heads to Cleveland with a tough game of their own.
Philadelphia will try and win the West as they host Seattle and
Arizona heads to Tampa Bay, trying to avoid the upset and catch the
Eagles. New Orleans hosts
Seattle, trying to keep their slim lead on Detroit who heads to the NY
Giants, who are coming off a big win.
Carolina and Atlanta go head to head with the loser likely out of
the playoffs and the winner keeping their slight chances alive.
Miami will try to get their first win over Houston.
