I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

The trade deadline has come and gone with only one minor deal as most of the big moves have already been made! Be sure if you have trouble hooking up to be sure you get a plan in place and a sub if needed.  Thanks for the great work guys!  I have updated files on the website, go ahead and get those and get started on your game contacts for week 11.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

***There is a new game update available on the website, dated 10/5/13 ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

This week in the AFC Pittsburgh makes it two straight as they beat the Buccaneers on the road and New England goes to 10-0 over the Saints.  Philadelphia puts the smack down on Indianapolis and Tennessee does the same to Minnesota.  Cleveland stays on top in the East as they beat the Jets and Denver stays even with them by beating Buffalo in a close one.  Dallas gets back to their winning ways over the Giants and San Francisco wins again over Houston.  Chicago upsets San Diego to muddle the playoff race a bit more.

This week in the NFC Green Bay just about wraps up the Central with a win over KC and Carolian pulls the upset on Arizona.  Tampa Bay falls to Pittsburgh and New Orleans is beat by the rolling Patriots.  Philadelphia stays on top with a win over Indy and St. Louis gets their first win of the season over Miami.  Seattle beats Detroit to keep their playoff hopes alive and the Giants fall to Dallas.  Jacksonville keeps pace with the Eagles by beating Atlanta in a tight one.

Coming up in the AFC NY Jets will try and get back to winning against Buffalo and Pittsburgh will try and make it 3 in a row as the Bears come to town.  New England tries to keep rolling as the Niners head East and Tennessee looks to stay on top of the West as they visit Indianapolis.  Denver and Cleveland face off for the top spot in the East and San Diego and Dallas will try and get a leg up on the final wild card slot.  Minnesota finishes things off as they head south to Jacksonville.

Coming up in the NFC Jacksonville hosts the Vikings and Philadelphia heads to New Orleans as both continue to fight for the top spot in the conference.  Green Bay will try and keep pace as they visit Houston and Arizona will try and right the ship as Tampa Bay comes to town.  Seattle will try and keep Miami winless and Kansas City and Carolina fight to stay alive in the playoff race.  Detroit has the Giants coming to town and St. Louis and Atlanta face off in a game that means a better draft pick.
