I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

A great start to the season as everyone was on time and we had no real game set up issues.  Thanks for the great work guys!  I have updated files on the website, go ahead and get those and get started on your game contacts for week 2.

I can’t stress enough that you need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

***No new game update is available at this point ***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me enough names as the more injuries the more likely someone else already grabbed the guy you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

This week in the AFC Indianapolis gets a tough 10-0 win over the Bucs while Chicago gets a huge win to start the season vs Dallas.  San Diego wins a shootout with the Giants and Denver shuts out the Chiefs.  Tennessee gets their first win over Buffalo and San Francisco just gets by division rival Minnesota.  New England wins an easy one over Pittsburgh and the Jets do the same to the Dolphins.  Cleveland finishes of the slate with a big division win against Houston.

This week in the NFC Jacksonville kicks of their Super Bowl defense with a win over Atlanta and Arizona gets a big NFC West win over Philadelphia.  Miami drops their first one to NY Jets and Detroit gets a late FG to get by Seattle.  New Orleans matches Arizona’s win as they beat Carolina and Tampa Bay takes a loss to the Colts.  Green Bay starts out on top of the Central with a win over St. Louis and Kansas City drops their first one in Denver.  The Giants get some offense but not enough against San Diego.

Coming up in the AFC San Francisco looks to go 2-0 as they host Dallas and Pittsburgh hosts a hot Cardinals team as they try for their first win.  Indianapolis looks for another win over New Orleans and Buffalo and Cleveland face off in the East.  New England hosts Tampa as they try for 2-0 and Denver and NY Jets go head to head in a bit East battle early in the season.  Houston tries for this first win against the Chiefs and San Diego matches up with division rival Minnesota.  Chicago and Tennessee will both look to build on their big week 1 wins to round out the schedule.

Coming up in the NFC Jacksonville will try for 2-0 as they visit the Giants and Green Bay will do the same in Miami.  Arizona also looks to keep up their winning ways as they head to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and Carolina look for their first win of the season.  New Orleans faces a tough Indy team while Tampa Bay looks to stop the Patriots on the road.  Kansas City looks for win #1 over Houston and Detroit will try for 2-0 against Atlanta.  Seattle hosts St. Louis in the final contest of the week with both clubs looking for their first win.
