MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Hope
everyone had a great holiday and thanks for getting all of your games in
on time (early even)! We are
down to the final stretch run of the playoff races this week and next,
please, do your best to get your games in on time and play your best,
upsets are awesome! Please
be sure to get in touch with your opponent and set a time early in the
week. Keep up with those
game contacts asap and good luck to all in week 16.
I
can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export
when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game
export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep
things.
***A
new game update is available dated 10/29, please get it from the ISFL
website before you play any games this week.***
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me a enough names.
Week 2 there were 15+ injury requests, if you are a good team,
you will need to list 3, 4 or more names to be sure you get a player you
want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
Week
15 in the AFC the NY Jets get a big leg up in the East as they beat
their rivals from Buffalo and Cleveland gets a big win over Minnesota.
Indianapolis beats New England to wrap up the Central while
Chicago falls to Kansas City.
Dallas gets by San Diego to win the West and Tennessee falls to
Carolina. Pittsburgh loses
again, to the Rams this time and Denver beats Houston in their quest for
.500. San Francisco beats
the Giants to round things out.
Week
16 starts with Dallas hosting Arizona and needing a win and Indy loss to
wrap up the top spot in the AFC.
Indianapolis hosts Chicago, looking to keep pace with the Cowboys
and NY Jets head to Denver as they try to stay alive for a first round
bye. Buffalo hosts Seattle
and Tennessee hosts San Diego, both teams looking to clinch a playoff
spot with wins. New England
heads to Minnesota and Cleveland has Houston coming to town.
San Francisco and Pittsburgh close out the conference with
neither team having much to play for.
Dallas can clinch the AFC top spot with a win and Indy loss while
Indianapolis can clinch a first round bye with a win of their own or a
Jets loss. NY Jets can win
the division with a win, while a loss keeps Buffalo alive if they can
get their own win. Tennessee
and Buffalo both clinch playoff slots with wins and are fighting for the
#4 slot and a first round home game.
New England needs a win to clinch the final playoff slot while
Chicago needs to run the table and hope for two Patriots losses to get
into the post season. Everyone else is done at this point and heading to
the golf courses.
Week
15 in the NFC Jacksonville keeps on rolling and wraps up the top spot in
the conference with a win over Green Bay and Kansas City and Arizona
clinch their respective division with wins over Chicago and Tampa Bay.
Seattle gets by Detroit in a tight one and New Orleans beats
Philadelphia. Atlanta beats
Miami, Carolina gets the win over Tennessee and the Giants fall again,
this time to the 49ers.
The
NFC has Jacksonville continuing their quest for a perfect season hosting
the Giants and Kansas City hosts Green Bay while Arizona heads to
Dallas, both looking to get a first round bye.
Seattle visits Buffalo and Carolina goes to Miami, both looking
to wrap up a playoff slot.
Tampa Bay heads to Philadelphia, trying to keep pace with the Packers
for the final playoffs spot and New Orleans looks to keep their slim
hopes alive with the Rams coming to town.
Atlanta hosts Detroit to round out the schedule for the week.
Jacksonville is playing for a perfect season with the top slot
all wrapped up. Arizona and
Kansas City are tied and both needs wins to keep pace for the first
round bye with KC holding the edge right now with a slightly better
conference record. Seattle
clinches a playoff slot with a win or loss by either Tampa or Green Bay.
Carolina can clinch a playoff slot with a win or a Green Bay
loss. Tampa Bay and Green
Bay are neck and neck for the final playoff slot, lots of options for
them still and New Orleans is alive as well but needs wins and some help
to get there. Philadelphia and Detroit are technically alive, but would
need a bunch of help if they win their last 2 and need a lot of losses
from the 3 teams in front of them.
Atlanta, NY Giants, St. Louis, Miami are all done for the season.
