I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 14 is the bye week, so we move on to Week 15 and have 2 weeks to get all of the games in.  Enjoy the holiday and we’ll get into the stretch run of the playoff races next week!  Please be sure to get in touch with your opponent and set a time early in the week.  Keep up with those game contacts asap and good luck to all in week 15.

I can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

***A new game update is available dated 10/29, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me a enough names.  Week 2 there were 15+ injury requests, if you are a good team, you will need to list 3, 4 or more names to be sure you get a player you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

Week 13 in the AFC the Jets win big over Houston and Buffalo wins their matchup over Tennesee to stay tied on top of the East.  Dallas shuts out San Francisco to open up a 2 game lead in the West and Indianapolis beats Miami to keep their 2 game lead in the Central.  New England beats Chicago to take a leg up in the wild card and keep pace with the Colts and Pittsburgh loses again, this time to the Packers.  San Diego falls to Carolina and sit 2 games out of the playoffs and Cleveland takes down Detroit.  Denver beats Atlanta but still get eliminated from the playoffs and Minnesota faces Philly and fall to 0-13.

Week 15 starts with Dallas looking to wrap up the West as they head to San Diego while Tennessee will try and keep pace against Carolina.  Indianapolis can clinch the division with a head to head matchup against New England and Chicago will look to get back into the wild card spot with a win over Kansas City.  The NY Jets host Buffalo and the winner will hold a lead in the East with 2 games to play and Cleveland heads to Minnesota.  Denver faces off with Houston while San Francisco hosts the Giants and Pittsburgh heads to St. Louis in a battle for drafting position.  Dallas can clinch the West with a win and Titans loss, Indianapolis clinches the Central with a win over the Patriots.  NY Jets and Buffalo matchup as they try to get a leg up in the East and Chicago and San Diego are the only 2 other teams still alive, but will need wins and some help to keep pace.  Cleveland, Denver, San Francisco, Houston, Pittsburgh and Minnesota are all done and playing out the string.

Week 13 in the NFC Jacksonville stays undefeated over Seattle and clinches the NFC East, While Kansas City beats Tampa Bay and is on the verge of winning the Central.  Arizona beat New Orleans and needs just a win to take the West.  Green Bay beats Pittsburgh but needs a lot of help to catch KC and Carolina beats the Chargers but also need a leg up to get the division.  Miami falls to Indianapolis and St. Louis beats the NY Giants to stay out of the conference basement.  Philadelphia hosts Minnesota and get a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The NFC has Jacksonville looking for 14-0 against the Packers and Seattle will look to get back on track against Detroit.  Kansas City heads to Chicago trying to win the Central and Arizona heads to Tampa Bay trying to wrap up the West.  Carolina heads to Tennessee and Miami matches up with Atlanta.  The Eagles will head south to New Orleans and the Giants head West to San Francisco looking for win #2 on the season.  Jacksonville won the East and wraps up #1 overall with a win this week.  Kansas City and Arizona clinch their divisions with a win.  Seattle sits in #4 and a win gets them close to clinching a spot, while Green Bay, Carolina and Tampa Bay are tied for 5th, with one likely to be on the outside looking in after week 15.  New Orleans, Philly and Detroit are still alive, but just barely, while Miami also has a little life, but with so many teams in front of them are likely done.  St. Louis, Atlanta and the Giants are all heading to the links.
