I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

The playoff races are in full force with many teams still alive in both conferences, see below for where the races stand.  Please be sure to get in touch with your opponent and set a time early in the week.  Keep up with those game contacts asap and good luck to all in week 13.

I can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

***A new game update is available dated 10/29, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.  Also, be sure you give me a enough names.  Week 2 there were 15+ injury requests, if you are a good team, you will need to list 3, 4 or more names to be sure you get a player you want.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

Week 12 in the AFC San Francisco wins big over Houston and Dallas does the same vs Minnesota.  Chicago sqeaks by Pittsburgh and Denver upsets the Seahawks.  Buffalo whips up on San Diego and Tennessee just gets by the Saints to keep pace with the Cowboys.  The Jets beats the Falcons and while New England and Indianapolis beat Cleveland and St. Louis respectively to keep pace at the top of the Central.

Week 13 starts with the Jets hosting the Texans in the East, while Buffalo has Tennessee coming to town.  Dallas faces off with San Francisco and San Diego heads to Carolina.  Pittsburgh visits the Pack while Indianapolis travels to Miami.  Denver hosts the Falcons and Chicago and New England go head to head with the loser likely out of the Central race.  Minnesota visits Philadelphia and Cleveland hosts the Lions. At this point, Buffalo and the Jets are fighting it out for the East in a dead heat, with Cleveland, Denver and Houston all out of the playoffs.  Indianpolis holds a 2 game lead in the Central, with the Patriots and Bears facing off and likely one of them being in trouble after this week.  Dallas holds a 1 game lead in the West over Tennesssee who is in good shape for a playoff spot, while San Diego sits in 8th and will need to pass a couple of teams to join the party.  Pittsburgh, San Fran and Minny are all done for the season.

Week 12 in the NFC Arizona wins big over Tampa Bay to regain their hold on the West and Jacksonville goes to 12-0 on the season with a win over Detroit.  Kansas City wins over the Giants and Green Bay falls to Miami, giving the Chiefs a 3 game lead in the Central.  Philadelphia beats Carolina and Seattle falls to the Broncos.  New Orleans loses a close one to the Titans and Atlanta falls to the Jets.  St. Louis loses to the Colts.

The NFC has Seattle hosting Jacksonville, can anyone stop the Jags from going undefeated this year?  Carolina hosts San Diego and the Packers get a visit from the Steelers.  Miami has Indy coming to town and the Giants visiting the Rams in a fight for the conference basement.  Atlanta heads to Denver and Philly has the Vikings coming to visit.  Kansas City faces of with Tampa Bay and Detroit goes to the Browns.  Arizona will try and avoid a let down against the Saints.  Jacksonville has all but sewn up the East and the conference, a win over Seattle could get them both, a loss prolongs things a bit longer.  Kansas City holds 3 game lead in the Central and with the a win and Packers loss could win the Central.  Arizona leads the Buccaneers in the West by 2 game and the Panther by 3 games, a win and they could about lock up the West.  Seattle leads the wild card hunt and Tampa Bay sits in 5th, with Green Bay and Carolina tied at 6-6 for the final spot and both Detroit and New Orleans holding some faint playoff hopes.  Philly is on life support at this point, with 2 games to make up and a lot of teams to pass, while St. Louis, Atlanta and NY Giants are all making their golfing plans already.
