MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
A
pretty good week and we are really getting into the playoff races now.
Please be sure to get in touch with your opponent and set a time
early in the week. Keep up
with those game contacts asap and good luck to all in week 10.
Trade
deadline is the end of this week (10/29), time to start deciding who the
sellers and buyers will be!
All trades MUST be confirmed to me by both parties by 10 pm eastern or
they didn’t happen, so let me know asap!
I
can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export
when the game is complete.
Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game
export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep
things.
***A
new game update is available dated 9/6, please get it from the ISFL
website before you play any games this week.***
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Also, be sure you give me a enough names.
Week 2 there were 15+ injury requests, if you are a good team,
you will need to list 3, 4 or more names to be sure you get a player you
want.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
Week
9 in the AFC Dallas wins the big matchup over the Jets and keep on
rolling out west, though Tennessee and San Diego both keep pace with
wins over the Vikings and Eagles respectively.
Indianapolis stays on top of the Central with a big win over
Houston while New England shuts out the Steelers and Chicago crushes the
49ers. Buffalo squeaks out a
tight win over Denver to move to the top of the East while Cleveland
falls to Seattle, dropping to the bottom of the playoff race.
Week
10 starts with Minnesota hosting Carolina and Pittsburgh heading south
to Houston. San Diego and
their new QB, Eli Manning, head West to Denver and Indianapolis and
Buffalo face off in a big AFC matchup.
Cleveland hosts the Jets trying to keep their slim playoff hopes
alive and Tennessee will try and keep pace out West as they play the
49ers. Chicago and New
England matchup up as they fight for the #2 slot in the Central and
Dallas will try and stay at the top of the conference as they visit the
Saints.
Week
9 in the NFC Kansas City beats the Rams handily to keep their lead in
the Central as the Pack beat Miami to keep pace.
Philly falls to the Chargers and Carolina pulls off the big upset
over the Cardinals who may have been still reeling from their week 8
loss to the Jags. Tampa Bay
also falls out west to New Orleans who get themselves back in the
playoff race and Detroit beats the Giants to keep their playoff hopes
alive. Seattle beats
Cleveland to try and keep pace with the Jags who get to 9-0 with a big
win over the Falcons.
The
NFC has the biggest game of the week as we find out if anyone can stop
the Jaguars when Seattle comes to town.
Philly hosts the Chiefs who try and stay ahead of the Packers who
hosts a struggling Arizona club who needs to right the ship.
Carolina will try for the West lead as they head to Minnesota and
Miami will try and get out of the Central basement as they face the
Rams. Tampa Bay will try to
catch the Cards as they have the Giants in town and Detroit looks to
move back into the playoff race as they host Atlanta.
New Orleans also tries to continue their upward trend
