MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Congratulations on a great season guys, especially to Dallas and Detroit
who win their respective conferences, now can they take it all the way?
Playoff files will be out as soon as I can get them but there is
no big hurry as you have til after the holidays to get the games in.
Look
for info on the awards and constitutional props ballots by next weekend.
I
can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export
when the game is complete.
This is the second straight week that a host had something come up and
forget to send me an export.
It takes about 30 seconds following your game to export it and send it
to me. Send your write up
later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the
game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.
***A
new game update is available dated 11/29, please get it from the ISFL
website before you play any games this week.***
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
In
the AFC, the NY Jets get a big win over Houston and come back to win the
East division despite a win by Denver against San Diego.
New England sneaks by Chicago and will be the third seed in the
playoffs as the Central winner and Pittsburgh wins their last one
against the Bucs to get to .500.
Cleveland gets a win over Miami to close out their season on a
winning note and Minnesota gets shut out by Seattle.
Tennessee wins their final game against the Niners to end up the
#5 seed while Buffalo heads to the playoffs coming off a loss to Kansas
City and will face the Patriots in round 1. Dallas finishes off their
great season with another win over the Colts and will be the top overall
seed in the AFC.
In
the Wildcard Round, Dallas and the NY Jets get to rest up for a week
with a bye. New England
hosts the Buffalo Bills and Denver hosts the Tennessee Titans (some
prize for finishing higher, eh? :O).
In
the NFC, Detroit beats the Giants and Jacksonville beats Atlanta but the
Lions win the tiebreaker for the top overall slot.
Green Bay wins over St. Louis to get the other bye while New
Orleans gets a huge win over Arizona to steal the division in the final
week of the season and a home game in round 1.
Miami drops one to Cleveland to finish in the top lottery slot
and Carolina gets a big win over Philadelphia in their final game.
Tampa Bay loses to Pittsburgh and Kansas City gets a win over
Buffalo to finish with 10 wins (yet still miss the playoffs).
Seattle beats Minnesota to clinch the final playoff slot and a
first round match with New Orleans.
The
Wildcard Round in the NFC has Detroit and Green Bay taking the week off.
New Orleans who won the NFC West will host the Seattle Seahawks
and Jacksonville will host Arizona in what should be a great match up.
