MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
This
is it guys, the final week with a lot to be decided still though most of
the teams are set, still a lot of options on who will play who. Please,
if you send me an injury sub request, let me know the full name of the
player being replaced, how many games and the full name of the
replacement so I don’t have to try and figure all that out on my own,
just saves me some time.
I
can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export
when the game is complete.
This is the second straight week that a host had something come up and
forget to send me an export.
It takes about 30 seconds following your game to export it and send it
to me. Send your write up
later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the
game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.
***A
new game update is available dated 11/29, please get it from the ISFL
website before you play any games this week.***
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
In
the AFC, Dallas beats San Francisco and from all appearances has wrapped
up the conference title, a bye and home field until the Super Bowl.
New York beats Denver and move into the lead for the division
while New England and Indianapolis lose to Arizona and San Diego and
Pittsburgh beats Carolina, but it appears that the Patriots have
clinched the division at this point.
Buffalo beats Cleveland and Tennessee beats Minnesota and that
leaves them tied for the final two playoff slots, so week 17 will decide
their seeding. Houston loses
to Kansas City to round out the conference.
In
week 17, New York needs to beat Houston to win the East division again,
if they slip, then Denver needs to win over San Diego to get their first
division in a long time. New
England has the Central wrapped up, but can make it official with a win
over Chicago or losses by Pittsburgh to Tampa Bay and Indianapolis at
Dallas. The Cowboys will
rest bodies likely this week, but will try for win #14.
Tennessee goes to San Francisco and Buffalo is in Kansas City as
they try and see who will finish #5 and #6 and avoid Denver/NY Jets in
round 1. Cleveland goes to
Miami looking for win #6 and Minnesota will head to Seattle.
In
the NFC, Jacksonville wins over the Giants and Detroit shuts out St.
Louis to stay tied in the East and it comes down to week 17 to decide
the division and possibly the conference title. Green Bay beats Miami
and Arizona gets the win over New England as they fight for the second
bye. New Orleans beats
Philly to keep their slim division title chances alive.
Seattle beats Atlanta and Kansas City wins at Houston and they
will fight for the final playoff slot in week 17.
Carolina loses to Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay beats Chicago to
finish up the NFC.
Week
17 in the NFC has Arizona and New Orleans playing head to head for the
West Division while Green Bay heads to St. Louis trying to finish second
in the conference.
Jacksonville hosts Atlanta and Detroit does the same for the Giants with
a loss costing either team the division title.
Seattle finishes 6th with a win over Minnesota, Kansas
City has an outside chance if they beat Buffalo and Seattle loses.
Philadelphia hosts Carolina and Tampa Bay heads to Pittsburgh.
Miami hosts Cleveland and looks to get out of the basement with a
win.
