MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER
Two
weeks to go and the playoff fight is in full swing, make sure you are
doing your best to get your games in and give the contenders all they
can handle! Please, if you send me an injury sub request, let me know
the full name of the player being replaced, how many games and the full
name of the replacement so I don’t have to try and figure all that out
on my own, just saves me some time.
I
can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export
when the game is complete.
This is the second straight week that a host had something come up and
forget to send me an export.
It takes about 30 seconds following your game to export it and send it
to me. Send your write up
later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the
game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.
***A
new game update is available dated 11/29, please get it from the ISFL
website before you play any games this week.***
Don’t
forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an
injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so
don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage,
especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games
they have to work with.
Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after
each game. The home team is
responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get
done. Also, you MUST send me
the game export immediately after the game is complete.
It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down
for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to
guess whether a game has happened or not.

News from Around the League
In
the AFC, Denver stumbles against New England who takes a one game lead
in the Central and the Jets take advantage, beating Buffalo to get to
within a game of the Broncos.
Pittsburgh beats Indianpolis and the Pats have a leg up on
winning the division now.
Dallas wins over the Falcons and Tennessee loses to San Diego and the
Cowboys have wrapped up the west and look to try and get the #1 seed.
Cleveland beats the Rams and Houston does the same to the Bears
as both teams move further from the #1 slot.
Minnesota loses to the Lions and San Francisco drops one to
Seattle as both move into a tie for second last in the conference.
In
week 16, Denver hosts the NY Jets in maybe the game of the season with
the winner holding the inside track to the Eastern division title.
New England heads to Arizona and Indianapolis hosts San Diego as
they jockey for position in the Central as the loser likely is out of
the playoffs. Dallas
continues to fight for home field throughout as they host San Francisco.
Buffalo hosts Cleveland and Tennessee hosts Minnesota as both
teams look to lock up their wild card slots and hold off the loser in
the Central. Pittsburgh is
out of the playoffs and head to Carolina, also out at this point while
Chicago heads to Tampa Bay and Houston hosts Kansas City with a chance
to play spoiler and finish the Chiefs season.
Dallas has won the West and will be one of the top 2 seeds.
Denver can win the East if they beat the Jets, NY can win the
division by winning their final two.
New England can win the division with a win and Indy loss or two
wins in the last two games, Indy has to win out and get some help to
take the Central. Tennessee
and Buffalo can basically clinch playoff slots with wins this week.
Cleveland, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Minnesota, San Francisco,
Chicago and Houston are all done for the season.
In
the NFC, Jacksonville beats Philadelphia and Detroit beats Minnesota as
they keep pace in the East.
Green Bay beats the Giants to clinch the Central and Arizona beats
Carolina to keep a one game lead on New Orleans who win over Tampa Bay.
Seattle beats San Francisco to hold on to the #6 playoff spot
while Kansas City beats Miami to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Atlanta loses to Dallas and are out of any playoff contention.
Week
16 in the NFC has Jacksonville on the road at NY Giants and Detroit does
the same in St. Louis as they try and keep division title hopes alive.
Green Bay hosts Miami looking for a first round bye and Arizona
does the same as they host New England.
New Orleans heads to Philadelphia, looking to win and solidify a
playoff spot and maybe catch the Cards if they slip.
Seattle heads to Atlanta with a win all by guaranteeing them the
playoffs. Kansas City heads
to Houston, needing a win to avoid going home early and Carolina looks
for .500 as they host Pittsburgh.
Tampa Bay and Chicago play for sole possession of the third draft
slot. Right now, winner of
the East appears to be the #1 seed, just a matter of if it will be the
Lions or Jags, the other gets #4, while Arizona and Green Bay each fight
for the other bye. New
Orleans sits in #5 and Seattle #6, with Kansas City a game back and
Philly all but done.
Carolina, Atlanta, St. Louis, Tampa, Miami and NY Giants are all making
tee times.
