I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Moving on towards the playoffs, some teams are out of the race and I know the temptation is to slack off on game contacts, but please, keep up with them as the games are still important to many teams.  Please, if you send me an injury sub request, let me know the full name of the player being replaced, how many games and the full name of the replacement so I don’t have to try and figure all that out on my own, just saves me some time.

I can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  This is the second straight week that a host had something come up and forget to send me an export.  It takes about 30 seconds following your game to export it and send it to me.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

***A new game update is available dated 11/16, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC, Denver wins a shootout with Cleveland to stay on top and the NY Jets win a close one over Indy to keep pace.  Dallas beats the Giants out West but Tennessee wins as well over the Vikings and things stay the same there.  New England wins to tie things up with the Colts with Pittsburgh loses to Chicago for the second time this year to lose ground.  Buffalo wins as well to stay tied with the Titans for the final playoff spot while Houston loses to St. Louis.  San Francisco and San Diego both lose to stay tied at the bottom of the West.

In week 15, Dallas heads to Atlanta with a chance to win the division while Tennessee will try and stay alive against San Diego.  Denver can win their division with a win over New England  who also looks to stay on top in the Central and NY Jets host Buffalo as they try and lock up a playoff spot.  Indianapolis heads to Pittsburgh in hopes of ending the Steelers season and Houston and Chicago play out the string.  San Francisco hosts Seattle, Minnesota hosts Detroit and Cleveland hosts St. Louis in interconference matchups.

In the NFC, Arizona wins a huge game over Philadelphia for a 3 game lead on them in the division while New Orleans beats Carolina to stay a game back.  Green Bay loses a tight one to Atlanta and Kansas City gets a win over Tampa to keep their division hopes alive.  Jacksonville beats Seattle and Detroit beats San Francisco to stay tied in the East.  St. Louis wins over Houston and Miami drops another one to Buffalo. NY Giants lose again to keep pace with the Dolphins at the bottom of the conference.

Week 15 in the NFC Green Bay can finish up the Central with a win at the Giants and Kansas City needs to beat Miami and get some help to stay in it.  Arizona hosts Carolina and New Orleans hosts Tampa as both look to fight it down to the end for the West.  Detroit heads to Minnesota in the East and Jacksonville hosts Philadelphia in a match up of teams going the opposite direction.  Seattle heads to San Francisco to try and hold on to the final playoff slot and Atlanta hosts Dallas as they try and spoil the Cowboys celebration.  St. Louis heads to Cleveland as they try to stay out of the league basement for another week.
