I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Another very good week with games in in a timely manner and nothing to really mess up my day, keep up the good work guys!  Please, if you send me an injury sub request, let me know the full name of the player being replaced, how many games and the full name of the replacement so I don’t have to try and figure all that out on my own, just saves me some time.

I can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  This is the second straight week that a host had something come up and forget to send me an export.  It takes about 30 seconds following your game to export it and send it to me.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

***A new game update is available dated 09/14, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.***

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC, Denver goes to 4-0 with a big win over Houston and Cleveland gets their first win over the visiting Vikings.  Chicago drops a tough one to the Saints and New England takes a big lead in the Central with a win over Pittsburgh.  The Jets get back to their winning ways over the Chiefs and Indianapolis gets this first win over the previously unbeaten Cardinals.  Dallas wins over San Diego and San Francisco loses again, this time to Atlanta.  Tennessee gets a shootout win over Buffalo.

In week 5, Denver looks to stay unbeaten but face the Champs from NY while Dallas hosts Cleveland as they also look to stay clean.  Chicago and Tennesse match up and New England tries to extend their lead versus Carolina.  Minnesota looks to climb out of the basement against the Chargers and Houston and Buffalo try to keep pace in the East.  Indianapolis looks for 2 in a row against Tampa and Pittsburgh and San Francisco both are looking for win #2.

In the NFC, Green Bay stays unbeaten against Miami and New Orleans gets their first win over the Bears.  Detroit keeps pace in the east with a win over Carolina and Seattle does the same over the Rams.  Kanasas City drops to .500 against the Jets and Arizona loses their first to the Colts.  Atlanta gets their first win as well over the niners and the Jags shutout the Giants.

Week 5 in the NFC Philly and Green Bay face off and the winner is the last unbeaten in the conference and Detroit and Seattle look to stay on top in the East.  Carolina looks for a win over the Patriots and St. Louis will look to keep Miami winless.  The Giants and Atlanta fight to stay out of the basement in the East and Tamp Bay looks to do the same out West.  Jacksonville looks to stay on top in the East against KC who tries to keep pace with Green Bay and Arizona looks to get back on the winning track against the struggling Saints.
