I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Another very good week with games in in a timely manner and nothing to really mess up my day, keep up the good work guys!  Please, if you send me an injury sub request, let me know the full name of the player being replaced, how many games and the full name of the replacement so I don’t have to try and figure all that out on my own, just saves me some time.

I can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  This is the second straight week that a host had something come up and forget to send me an export.  It takes about 30 seconds following your game to export it and send it to me.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

A new game update is available dated 09/12, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC, Cleveland drops a close one to the Chiefs and New England gets a second win, this time over the Colts who drop to 0-3.  San Diego wins a close one over Chicago and Denver does the same over the Steelers to move to 3-0.  The Jets lose for the first time in a VERY long time as Green Bay pulls off the upset and Buffalo wins big over the 49ers.  Minnesota gets their first win of the season and Houston gets a big win over the Dolphins.  Dallas and Tennessee were the late game and the Cowboys win a tight one to stay undefeated.

In week 4, Houston and Denver match up in a huge game in the East, while Cleveland looks for their first win as they host Minnesota.  Chicago will try and keep the Saints winless and Pittsburgh looks to slow down the Patriots and keep alive their chances in the Central.  The Jets will try and start another winning streak but face a tough test with the Chiefs and Indianapolis looks to break their donut and stop the Cardinals winning streak as well.  Dallas and San Diego fight it out for the West lead and San Francisco looks to keep pace as well with a win over Atlanta.  Tennessee and Buffalo match up as both look to stay in touch with their respective division leaders.

In the NFC, Kansas City goes to 2-1 with a win over the Browns and Detroit gets their second win as well, over New Orleans who surprisingly drop to 0-3.  Philadelphia stays unbeaten with a win over the Jaguars who take their first loss and Arizona keeps pace with a win over Tampa Bay.  Carolina drops the Rams to 1-2 with their first win and Green Bay gets a HUGE win as they stop the Jets winning streak.  Atlanta drops a game to the Vikings, same for Miami who lose to the Texans, while Seattle wins a big one over the Giants as Vick runs wild.

Week 4 in the NFC has Miami looking to stop Green Bays hot start and New Orleans looks for their first win as well over Chicago.  Detroit and Carolina face off and Tampa Bay will try and stop Philly from going 4-0.  St. Louis heads to Seattle to try and slow down Vick and Kansas City will try and keep the Jets from starting a new streak.  Arizona looks to keep the Colts winless and Atlanta looks for their first win as they host the 49ers.  The Giants and Peyton will try and get things rolling against Jacksonville.
