I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 11 is complete, please be sure you keep on top of getting games set up and let me know if you are having trouble.  Make sure you get in contact with your week 12 opponent asap and good luck to all!

I can’t stress enough that need to IMMEDIATELY send me your game export when the game is complete.  This is the second straight week that a host had something come up and forget to send me an export.  It takes about 30 seconds following your game to export it and send it to me.  Send your write up later on, that’s fine, but I MUST have the game export as soon as the game ends or I’ll have to sim the game to keep things.

A new game update is available dated 10/28, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the amount of games they have to work with.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game.  The home team is responsible for this, but either team can do it, as long as it does get done.  Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete.  It takes about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC, Buffalo stays right in the thick of the wildcard race with a win over Cleveland and the Jets continue to roll with a win over the Titans.  Pittsburgh and Dallas play a wild one with the Steelers coming out on top and Denver pulls likely the biggest upset of the season as they down the Texans for their second win of the season.  Indianapolis keeps pace in the Central with a win over the Chargers and New England gets their first win with a victory over the Vikings.  Chicago stays tied with the Steelers on top of the Central as they beat the Niners.

Week 11 has Buffalo hosting the Eagles as they try to solidify a playoff slot and Cleveland heads to New Orleans looking to be the next upset special.  Chicago hosts Houston with both needing the win to keep their respective playoff runs rolling and Pittsburgh will try and avoid being the Patriots next upset victim.  Dallas hosts the Chargers with a chance to about put away the West and the Jets look for 12-0 as they host Denver who will be flying high and looking for another big win.  Minnesota hosts Indy with the Colts needing the win to keep pace in the Central and the Niners host the Packers as they hope to try and stay with Dallas for one more week.

In the NFC, the game of the week lived up to the billing as the Saints pull off the late win over the Rams, while Arizona downs Philly to stay in the #4 wild card slot.  Green Bay beats Miami to stay tied in that spot with the Cards while Kansas City drops one to Seattle to also end up tied for the final playoff spot while the Seahawks are just one game back.  Carolina gets a win over Tampa and both of them are just about out of the playoff race at this point and Atlanta is also tied there as they beat Jacksonville.  Detroit wins big of the Giants to stay on top of the NFC East and build up a 3 game lead.

In week 11, Philly heads to Buffalo, trying to salvage some pride for their season and New Orleans hosts the Browns as they try to win the West division.  Miami hosts the Titans in a game where neither has much to play for and Arizona hosts Carolina with one looking for playoffs and the other trying to play spoiler.  Detroit can put a stranglehold on the East with a win over Jacksonville and Seattle tries to keep pace in Tampa bay.  Green Bay hopes to keep pace with the Rams, who face division rival Kansas City in a game that could pull the division tighter or break it wide open.  The Giants and Falcons meet in a game where the loser is likely out of the playoffs and the other would keep their chances alive.
