I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Congratulations to Roberto Tosco and the New York Jets as Roberto wins his first ISFL Super Bowl and the Jets as a franchis win their
second overall. Congrats also to Bob Colleary who is the first owner to play in five Super Bowls and this was a great one even if his
team did not come out on top.

I would like to thank Bob Colleary for his 10 seasons as an owner in the ISFL and say we are sad to see him go. Bob leaves as the
winningest active coach in both the regular season (.813 winning pct) and the playoffs (15 wins over 10 seasons) and also won a Super
Bowl. Bob will be missed and is always welcome back should the football bug bite him again in the future. Thanks Bob and good luck
in your retirement :O)

This is a last call for any owners who are not planning on coming back for next season. Right now I have two teams open, Green Bay
Packers and St. Louis Rams and have either heard that everyone else is coming back or haven’t heard anything (which I assume means
you are back). Before I award the two teams to the two potential owners I have, I want to be sure everyone is still with us, so if
you plan to step down or even think it’s possible, please let me know by Friday as I will be getting us back to 28 owners by the
end of next weekend.

At this point, the season is over. We don’t have anything left to do, so everyone should just relax and enjoy the quiet for the
next month or so and we’ll pick things up again after the new game is released in March. Remember, there is NO trading until two
weeks after the new game is released (hopefully around April 1st we’ll open things up), so anything you do now is just discussion
and I can’t enforce any deals you might agree to until they are confirmed by both teams after I’ve opened up trading (so if someone
changes their mind on a deal they offer you, nothing I can do).

The draft lottery occurred this past weekend, with some changes to the top 6, as San Diego keeps the top spot in the draft, but
Chicago jumps up from #11 to #2 and then Miami jumps up from #5 to #3, with Denver and Tampa Bay rounding out the top 5. Congrats
to the Chargers and let the speculation begin, do they pick or do they trade it?

A new game update is available dated 11/30, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as
the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for
the amount of games they have to work with (this obviously doesn’t apply to anyone who won’t be playing in the playoffs).

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game. The home team is responsible for this, but either
team can do it, as long as it does get done. Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete. It takes
about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess
whether a game has happened or not.

II. News from Around the League

Again, congratulations to Roberto Tosco and the New York Jets, I’ve included Roberto’s game write up below:

Coach Tosco predicted a shoot-out in pre-game chat and Coach Colleary
agreed it could have been a probable outcome. And indeed it was!
Bob played in 5 Superbowls and said this one was the most exciting. And
I can believe.

Game was played in Pro Player Stadium with 72°F (22°C) and no wind. Rams won coin toss and decided to defer. NY Jets played a bit
conservatively in their first drive and went 3&out gaining only 8 yds with 3 rushes. Instead Rams made clear they were red hot in
the first play from scrimmage with a great Cutler to Gonzalez short slant that the talented TE transformed in a huge 37 yds gain.
After converting two crucial 3rd&long situations, Rams drew first blood with a 20-yd Cutler to Burress pass which caught Jets Defense
off guard again on a short slant route. 7-0 Rams after 6'30". Jets decided to abandon conservative play and their coach called 3 long
passes in a 5-play span, but two back-to-back offensive penalties put NY in a hole they could not come out of. After the punt, Rams
had the ball back with a good field position, but they failed to convert a 3rd down (and that was an exception, because they finished
14 of 16 in this key stat!) and had to punt too. This time Jets were able to get the chains moving and marched downfield, eventually
tying the game at 7 with a fade pass in the corner of the end zone that Garcia threw to Driver to close the 1st qtr.

In the following drive Cutler was accurate and showed great confidence in Gonzalez, taking 1 yd on his own with a QB sneak to close a
3rd&inches, but then ruined all fumbling in the opponent redzone after a 9-yd rush which had already closed the down. NY Jets were
lucky to benefit from this mistake with back-to-back big plays: Garcia connected with Driver for a 28-yd gain and then Turner broke
free for a 43-yd scamper to lead his team to 14-7 with 5 minutes to go in the 1st half. St.Louis began the drive on own 37-yd line
after the usual short kick from Folk (who will be awful next year!) and Cutler threw a great medium slant pass to Owens who got paydirt
after unning free for 47 yds. Ram fans had not finished to cheer their team yet that Washington returned for 30 yds and Garcia hit
Walter who was running the same route as Owens and got a similar result, reaching end-zone after a 64-yd wild ride. 21-14 Jets with 2
minutes left to play in the 2nd qtr! Cutler converted a 3rd&5 and then a 3rd&15 with a 15-yd pass to Owens, then Harrison sacked for
the 3rd time in one half Ram QB and Hanson was called to nail a 50-yarder, a quite easy task for him - or not? ;-) 21-17 Jets and still
one half to play, shoot-out forecast already come true!

Second half: ball to St.Louis... or not? Witherspoon fumbled on the kickoff return and Jets had the ball on the opponent 36 yd-line! On
the second play from scrimmage Garcia hit Walter with a 31-yd long hitch pass and Jet WR was shy only 1 yd from the end-zone, so Turner
had to bash a 9-men-in-the-box formation to extend Jet lead to 28-17. The momentum was really all on Jet side as Cutler was picked by
Reeves. However Porter sacked Garcia while he was trying to throw another long pass and Jets had to be content with a FG, a not so easy
49-yarder that Folk kicked accurately. 31-17 Jets - a two score margin - with 11 minutes to play in the 3rd qtr. Game over? Absolutely
not! Witherspoon returned the kickoff to the 43-yd line and one single play was enough for DeAngelo Williams to gain remaining 57 yds
and score a TD to narrow the gap to 31-24. Another holding penalty against Jet o-line caused a 3&out deep into their own territory and
after the punt the Rams had the ball in a good field position. They exploited it with a couple of short slants that Cutler tossed to
Gonzalez & Owens for great after the catch gains. Eventually Pope (playing in relief of a banged up Williams) found paydirt to tie the
game at 31 still half way in the 3rd qtr. This time Washington made a good kickoff return, but Garcia overthrew a long pass and was
picked by good old Champ Bailey. However Jet Defense stepped up and Rams were not able to come out of their own territory, and had to
punt. Garcia completed a 28-yard long pass to Driver and immediately coach Tosco asked him to throw another one: the result was the
second pick, this time courtesy of Barber, but it has to be noted that both Jet WRs were doubled in a smart Bob's defensive call.
Luckily for the Jets, St. Louis did not convert the second 3rd down of the game while deep in NY territory and Rams got "only" 3 pts
off the turnover; however they were leading again 34-31 having scored 17 unanswered pts.

Jets tried this time to play a sustained drive and almost succeeded in their plan: they opened the bag of tricks with a successful end
around of Walter and mixed well rushes and passes involving the backs, often open due to opponent frequent LB blitzes. But a penalty and
another Porter sack brought them to a 3rd&goal on 12-yd line tough situation. Rams doubled all the WRs but Edwards managed to catch a
flat pass and was stopped 1 yd short from the end-zone. 4th&goal on the 1, 3'30" to go... what to do? At first coach Tosco thought about
going for it, but then decided to play safe and called Folk in for a chip shot to tie again the game at 34. Now Jets had to hope their
Defense would be able to stop the Rams, a tough task all night long. Coach Colleary quite easily gained 26 yds on 3 plays (two passes),
then decided to trust his clutch kicker and called 5 consecutive internal runs while consuming all time left. Williams gained only 11
yds (losing one in the last attempt) and Hanson had to make a 52-yarder to get the win. Game gave a 75% success prediction for this key
play, but stats played against Ram coach as the kick was wide!

Overtime in the SB! Rams won the coin toss, so NY defense had to stay in for another "do or die" drive. This time coach Colleary tried
to stun the Jets with a web of short passes, but a bloody offensive pass interference penalty called against seldom used WR Northcutt
put the Rams in a tough 3rd&20 situation. Cutler insisted to connect with Northcutt, he succeeded but they were short of 1st down and
Rams had to punt. Garcia forgot the picks and showed no fear connecting with Driver on another 28-yd long pass, then completed 3
consecutive passes to Washington and Edwards (twice) to setup an easy FG. Folk stroke from the 28 and lifted the Jets in heaven. 37-34
in OT after an epic battle!

Garcia was named MVP and couldn't have ended his career on a higher note. He finished 22 of 31 with 374 yds, 2 TDs and 2 INTs for a 106
rating. Two Jet WRs broke the 100-yds barrier, Driver had 8 receptions for 154 yds and a TD, Walter 3 for 104 and 1 TD (and a half!).
And Edwards made two crucial grabs after the game winning one against the Texans in the Divisional game. Cutler was also great with a
27-43-353-2TD, INT, fumble performance, helped by an always effective ground game (Williams gained 112 yds and scored a TD on only 17
carries). Turner was less used (13 carries), but had his slice of success with the already mentioned 43-yd rushing TD. Teams combined
for almost 1000 offensive yards in a huge offensive showdown, while Defensive plays were only occasionally effective.

This game closes Bob's career in the ISFL. He's not been lucky last night as he probably wasn't in past Superbowls, but eventually a
couple of episodes decided a game which both teams could have won. It was really an exciting game and I'm glad and proud to have been
part of it.

Thanks to all for a great season and to Mark for a wonderful job as Commissioner of this League, looking forward to coming back next
year to try to defend the title.

Roberto - Coach of the Year 2009 and ISFL Champion!
