I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

And then there were four. The AFC and NFC Championship games will see 1 vs 2 matchups on both sides as the best teams will meet to
decide who is #1 over them all. For those who are done for the year, please get your votes in for the ballot asap and then you can
enjoy your offseason until the new game is released in March.

Prop ballots are due on Sunday, January 25th and are mandatory, so please, for the 14 or so teams who haven’t sent them, get these in
to me asap!

A new game update is available dated 11/30, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.

Alex is back and should be ready to roll once the new game is released and offseason trading opens up! Keep working at it Alex and
things will continue to get better for you. Thanks again to Hank for his help in keeping the Dolphins moving forward this season and
the same to anyone else who helped when they could.

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as the
injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for the
amount of games they have to work with (this obviously doesn’t apply to anyone who won’t be playing in the playoffs).

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game. The home team is responsible for this, but either
team can do it, as long as it does get done. Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete. It takes
about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess
whether a game has happened or not.

Other that this stuff, just keep up the good work and good luck to all who are still in the playoffs! The preliminary draft order is
up and the lottery will run around the time of the Super Bowl.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC, the big game was a classic as the Jets and Texans go at it for a third time this season and it finally looked like the
Texans found the answer, but Garcia finds Braylon Edwards late and the Jets find themselves in the AFC Championship game, a place
they are accustomed to being at this point. Tennessee and Indy play a solid game in their rematch, but the Colts turn a 6 point half
time deficit into 21 second half points as Rodgers hits Ginn once in the third for the lead and then Camarillo twice in the fourth for
the final 31-16 score as the Titans just can’t find the offense in the second half.

The AFC Championship Game is a big matchup of the top two teams as it often is in the AFC. The Jets are used to being here, winning
a couple of times to get to the big game, but that was under previous management and new owner Roberto Tosca would like to give his
club their third championship and then coach for his own Super Bowl win. Indy is a different story as they have made the playoffs
just 4 times in the first 12 seasons, losing their first game very time. This is their first playoff win and now they want to show
they aren’t a fluke and can play with the big boys to get to the Super Bowl and play for the big prize.

In the NFC, Detroit just didn’t have enough tricks up their sleeves to take their lack of a big back past the St. Louis Rams. Bob
Colleary is playing in the NFC Championship game for the 7th time and doing it with the least talent he’s ever had before but it was
still enough to dethrone the defending champs this year as Cutler has a nice game and DeAngelo Williams, the newly minted ISFL MVP goes
for 113 yards and 2 TDs to get the job done and send the Lions home after a very tough title defense year. The other game was a classic
defensive battle, both teams not willing to give up much as the Eagles get out to a 10-0 lead and the Giants defense then just shuts
them down, giving up no points the rest of the way as Campbell can’t do much and the rushing game does even less. Gostkowski hits 3
straight FGs and then Manning who had a solid day, finally hits Jones for a TD and a 5 point lead and then Ross picks off Campbell on
the next play and takes it to the house for the final score as the Giants stuff the Eagles on a 4th and goal from the 1 to seal the win.

The NFC Championship Game is an interesting one as long time coach, Bob Colleary will coach his final NFC Championship game, while on
the other side you have returning long time coach Dean Engemoen coaching his first championship in five years, this time with a new
team as he still looks for his elusive ISFL SB win. This one will come down to whether Peyton Manning can will his team to a big win
and move his offense against an always tough Rams defense while on the other side, the pairing of Cutler and Williams must find a way to
keep producing against the even tougher Giants defense who will give Peyton the chance he needs in the end.
