I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

The playoffs are here and I want to thank you all for a great season, it’s been a pleasure to play with you all and I hope that
everyone will be staying on for next season. For those in the playoffs, I’ll have playoff files out shortly and you guys can get
started when you are ready. For those who are done for the year, just a couple of small things left for you to do then you can enjoy
your offseason until the new game is released in March.

At this point, I will entertain any ballot discussions so that we can get things voted on before we lose everyone for the offseason.
Right now, I have had suggestions about confirming all trades through the mailing list for them to be legal and also about changing
the IR rules for kickers and punters so we don’t have to carry a backup if we have a guy who missed only 1 game in real life. Both I
think are a good idea and unless I hear any real negative comments against them, then I’m going to just add them to the constitution
so we have them going forward. I’m willing to listen to any other ideas out there, please, don’t just throw out ideas that you haven’t
thought through. I’m really looking for ideas on things that would make the league better (or fix a perceived problem) and if they
are well thought out, then I don’t have to interpret and likely change the idea that you are really trying to get across.

On this note, the rule we instituted last year about injuries but didn’t use, should also be discussed, BUT, be aware that unless
someone can step forward to administer it, we won’t be using it as I already spend hours each week on this stuff and can’t give up
the time for it (in fact I only voted for it because Jeff was going to do the work for me).

A new game update is available dated 11/30, please get it from the ISFL website before you play any games this week.

Alex is home and slowly getting up to speed and should be back in charge for the offseason and going forward. I have assured him
that his team is here no matter how long it takes and that he should just focus on his recovery and that we all hope he can return
to us soon. I want to thank Hank Sienzant for all his help in keeping the Dolphins running in Alex’ absence and let him know we
really appreciate it! Thanks!

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as
the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for
the amount of games they have to work with (this obviously doesn’t apply to anyone who won’t be playing in the playoffs).

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game. The home team is responsible for this, but either
team can do it, as long as it does get done. Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete. It takes
about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess
whether a game has happened or not.

Other that this stuff, just keep up the good work and good luck to all who are in the playoffs! I’ll get a draft order up by next
weekend more than likely and the lottery will run around the time of the Super Bowl.

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC, both the Jets and Colts finish with just one loss as both get wins against tough opponents in the final week. Houston
wins their 12th game against a game, but undermanned, Broncos squad, while Cleveland pulls the big upset of the week over the Giants,
causing plenty of confusion in the NFC. New England wins a tight one over Chicago in a tough division game to finish the schedule and
Buffalo takes out the Steelers and ends their playoff hopes after a huge comeback from 1-5 to start the season. Tennessee wins a close
one over the Chargers for their best season in a long while and Dallas gets the job done in San Fran to win their final game of the season.

The AFC playoffs, NY Jets and Indianapolis Colts end up tied at 15-1 and didn’t play this year, so we go to the conference record,
where the Jets went a perfect 12-0, while the Colts had their lone loss in the AFC, so the Jets secure home field through the AFC
championship game, while Indy also gets a bye and sits in the #2 slot. Tennessee is #3 and hosts a playoff game, as does Houston who
is #4 and playing on home field in round 1. With Dallas’ win in the final week, the lock down the fifth seed and will get to match up
with the Texans in the Wild Card Round, while Cleveland also wins to get in and they travel to Tennessee for a playoff game as we pretty
much avoid any real tiebreaker issues in the AFC.

In the NFC, New Orleans finishes over .500 with a win over the hapless Bucs and Kansas City finishes at the .500 mark as their rebuild
continues, while Miami falls and may need to retool in the offseason. Carolina caps their comeback from 0-5, winning their final 11
games of the season and Detroit gets the big home win over division rival Atlanta that they needed to keep their season alive. St.
Louis finishes at 12-4, best in the NFC as they take out the Packers and Arizona takes advantage of the Eagles slip against the Jets,
beating Minnesota big and their rebuild may finally be bearing some fruit.

The NFC playoffs, St. Louis has taken the top spot with the best record in the conference by beating Green Bay and finishing at 12-4 in
Bob Colleary’s final season behind the bench. NY Giants won the East, despite a loss to the Browns, and will get the second bye on the
strength of a 2-0 hth record against the Cardinals. In the West, Arizona, Philadelphia and Carolina end in a three way tie for the
division title and since the teams all were 1-1 against each other, we go to the division record and Arizona's 6-2 is better than the
5-3 of both Philly and Carolina, so the Arizona Cardinals win their first division title under Andy Henderson and will host a first round
playoff game. Philadelphia and Carolina tied in the hth and division record as well as common games at 10-4, so if falls to conference
record where the Eagles go 9-3, vs 8-4 for the Panthers, and Philly will host a round 1 playoff game vs Carolina. Detroit beat Atlanta
head to head in week 17 to finish a game ahead of them and wrap up the 6th playoff spot, earning a trip to Arizona for a round 1 matchup
with the Cardinals.
