I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

The playoff races are now in full swing and upsets keep showing up all over the place. Let’s please keep on top of game contacts
(remember you are required to CC me on all of them) through the rest of the season, even those of you who may be out of the playoff
race, try and keep with us these final 6 weeks of the season. See below for a playoff update race.

A new game update is available dated 11/8, please get it from the ISFL website (not sure Dave has posted it yet) before you play any
games this week.

Well, unfortunately, long time owner, Jeff Shelton has decided to step down as the owner of the New Orleans Saints and he will be
missed as he’s been a solid owner with many contributions over his 6 years in the league. But with the loss of one good owner, we
are going to gain another one as Ed Minshull has agreed to take over the running of the Saints. Many of you know Ed from other
leagues and he’s a vet of the game, so should have no problems getting right into the swing of things. Ed can be reached at
e.minshull@comcast.net for game contacts and if he has an IM address, I’m sure he will let us know. Please welcome Ed to the league
and in the offseason I’m sure he’ll be ready to make some moves to shape the team how he wants them going forward.

I got an email from Alex and he’s progressing, though slowly. I have assured him that his team is here no matter how long it takes
and that he should just focus on his recovery and that we all hope he can return to us soon. Hank Sienzant has offered to run the
Dolphins until Alex returns and that works for me and is greatly appreciated, so please contact Hank for all Miami games until
further notice. Thanks!

Don’t forget, if you lose a player for 2 or more games, you can ask for an injury replacement, but it must be done the same week as
the injury, so don’t wait, get those requests in right away and take advantage, especially the teams who are already challenged for
the amount of games they have to work with.

Reminder that you MUST send a boxscore and writeup to the league after each game. The home team is responsible for this, but either
team can do it, as long as it does get done. Also, you MUST send me the game export immediately after the game is complete. It takes
about 30 seconds, so I shouldn’t have to chase you down for that file after a game, just get it in right away so I don’t have to guess
whether a game has happened or not.

Other that this stuff, just keep up the good work and good luck to all for week 13!

II. News from Around the League

In the AFC, some big wins this week, starting with Buffalo, who beats New Orleans and moves a step closer to the final playoff spot.
Denver drops a tough one to the amazing Panthers, while the upsets just continue to come as Chicago drops a turnover prone Houston
club who drop 2 games back of the Jets in the East. Speaking of the Jets, they continue to roll, beating the Browns and knocking them
down to a tie for 7th place, on the outside looking in. Indy just continues to win games, though it took all they had to beat a very
tough Pats club with Warner throwing for 4 TDs but falling short. Pittsburgh beats the Niners for a 6th straight win, while Minnesota
wins a battle of the also rans over San Diego. Tennessee wins a big one of Green Bay, to keep a one game lead over Dallas who beats
the Dolphins to keep pace.

The AFC playoff races are really heating up at this point with the NY Jets and Indianapolis at least clinching playoff spots already.
The Jets host the Bills and can really put a damper on their playoff chances with a loss in this game, while Indy has to go to Detroit
in their toughest game in a while as they try and keep pace with NY. Tennessee and Dallas both face last place teams in Denver and San
Diego, but if this season has taught us nothing, we should know there is an upset sitting out there somewhere this week and it could
be either of these games. Houston faces Cleveland, another team who needs a big upset win to help their playoff chances as they sit
in 7th place, a game behind Pittsburgh who hosts Chicago, hoping to avenge an earlier season loss to the Bears and solidify their
playoff chances while Chicago needs the win in the worst way or their playoff hunt is likely over. San Francisco and Minnesota play
each other in a game with no playoff implications, but both teams are still hunting for wins, while New England plays Seattle, a pair
of 3 wins teams, looking for number 4.

In the NFC, the NY Giants continue to win, with a big victory over the Cardinals, while Atlanta drops one to Detroit and they are tied
just a game back of NY in the East. Philadelphia beats Tampa to build a one game lead in the West, while New Orleans drops another one
to be 3 games back in the division and 2 games out of the playoffs. Carolina wins their 7th straight game after an 0-5 start and St.
Louis gets back on the winning track with a tough one over Kansas City. Seattle wins a one point game over the Jaguars at the bottom
of the East, while Green Bay and Miami lose tough ones to the AFC West leaders.

The NFC playoffs are pretty tight with no spots clinched as of yet. St. Louis can clinch their division with a win over Miami who is
just in search of .500 at this point. NY Giants host Atlanta in a big divisional game as they look for a 2 game lead with 3 to play,
while the Falcons want to get back into a tie at the top. Detroit has a tough task as well as they host the Colts and look for an
upset win and a three-way tie at the top of the East. Philly heads to Arizona in the big game out West and a win can pretty much sew
up the division for the Eagles, while a loss puts the Cardinals right back in the thick of things. Carolina looks to stay close to
that party as they sit in 7th place and head to Tampa to look to avoid an upset of their own and move a little closer to a playoff
position, while New Orleans hosts Jacksonville and must have a win or face the possibility of being eliminated from playoff contention
with 3 games still left to play. Green Bay and Kansas City battle as the Chiefs try and keep their slim division/playoff hopes alive
and Seattle plays New England and tries to stay out of the NFC basement.
