I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Week 7 is complete and then there was one. Dallas takes it to the Eagles to stay undefeated and they are the lone team without a loss
at this point. The Cowboys don’t get a breather though as they have to face the 6-1 Jets this week and will have another fight to hold
on in their quest to go 16-0.

Week in Review/Preview

In the AFC, Dallas continues to lead the way, while both the Jets and Steelers lead their divisions at 6-1. After win over the Broncos
the Steelers start a run through the division gauntlet as they have road games at Chicago and Indy, then come home to New England and
this likely will go a long way to deciding this division (or making it that much tighter). Indy sits at 5-2 after a tough loss to Houston
who is final shaping into form. They do continue to lead the way for the top wild card slot, with Houston, Tennessee and San Diego all
right behind them and in the hunt. Only Minnesota and Cleveland at 1-6 look to be out of the playoff race at this point, but a lot can
change over the next 3 weeks until the trade deadline.

The NFC has 4 teams all at 6-1, with Atlanta and Detroit still leading the way in the East and as usual St. Louis (a win over Carolina)
and Philly (despite the loss to Dallas) sit atop their respective divisions. The rest of the playoff race is a huge mess , with everyone
having between 1 and 4 wins, with Jacksonville, Green Bay and New Orleans leading the way at 4-3, all coming off big wins and hoping to
catch their respective division leaders if they can continue their winning ways. At the bottom of the conference, the underperforming
Giants (a team with Peyton should have more than 1 win) and Seattle both still have a chance to work their ways back into the playoff
races if they can start playing up to their potential.

Marion Barter is the Offensive Player of the week with 146 yards and 2 TDs in a Green Bay win over division rival Kanasas City.

Roderick Hood has the game of anyone’s life to be named Defensive Player of the Week as he has 3 INTs, 2 of which he returned for TDs
and the third he was stopped at the 1 yard line. He also had 7 tackles in the game to lead New England to a win.
