Message from the Commissioner II. News from Around the League III. Standings IV. Results V. Week 5 Schedule VI. Transactions VII. Other News including Players of the Week I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER Week 4 is complete, a quarter of the way through the season and things are rolling along well with another week of games in early (which I greatly appreciate by the way). Keep up the game contacts please and make sure you continue to CC me on them so I can help when needed in getting games set up or getting subs. Still need a sub for TB for this week if anyone is interested, please contact Carolina and let Shan know you can stand in this week. There is a new Action file available, please be sure you get this from the website and check that your game file is dated 9/19 after you install it (before games this week please). Good luck to all! And then there were 5! Just 5 undefeated teams left through week 4 as we have a couple of upsets that give the Rams and Titans their first losses of the season. The Steelers hang in there and fight right to the end and are able to beat the Rams despite not having the best talent on the field as they get a last minute 52 yard FG from Lindell to give St. Louis their first loss and their first win over them in ISFL history. Tennessee runs into an unhappy Saints club who had a tough start to the season and NO gives the Titans their first loss of the season as well. The game that we thought would be the best of the week, turned into a blow out as the Colts offense really gets rolling and snows the Packers under in a game that wasn't close. Atlanta and Detroit keep rolling on in the NFC east, but they are going to face tought tests the next two weeks as they each get to face the defending champion Jaguars who want their top spot in the division back, so we'll find out pretty quickly who the best team in the East is. Philadelphia is 4-0 out West but they also face a tough test in the Chargers who want to keep pace with the division leading Cowboys. Carolina, NY Giants, Arizona and Kansas City need to step it up soon as they are all still looking for their first win and all face tough tests this week if they want to avoid going 0-5. The AFC has just two teams left who have yet to lose as the Colts and Cowboys both sit atop their divisions with perfect records through 4 weeks. The Colts face a trap game this week against winless KC and must be sure to keep their focus if they want to hold on to top spot with the Steelers right behind them. Dallas faces a much tougher task as the rejuvenated Titans come to town, looking for their first win in big D in a long time and the Cowboys will need to come out with all guns blazing to get it done this week. In the AFC East, the Jets already have a 2 game lead and can stretch that out with their game against Seattle, with the other 4 teams in the division all sitting at 1-3 and in need of some help if they are to stay in the division/playoff race. Minnesota is the only team with no win left in the AFC and they face a Denver squad that should be about their equal and this might be their best chance for a win for a while as they face tougher tasks in TB and SD in the next couple of weeks. II. News from Around the League Game of the Week Tennessee 3-1 @ Dallas 4-0 Offense Tenn slight edge because of he injury Dallas has the better QB but no one to throw to as they have 4 Wideouts on the injury list for this game . Defense Dallas Both teams have stars on defense Tenn (M.Williams ) Dallas (Ryans , Reed ) . Special Teams Tennessee If it comes down to a late FG we like Tennessee J.Feely 91.3% FG, verus Suisham 82.9% FG's made If Brady can find a couple heathy bodies to throw to then Dallas wins if S.Holmes goes down then Tenn wins Dallas 17-Tenn 13
San Diego @ Philly Offense San Diego has more play makers on offense Defense Philly has the top defense in the ISFL giving up 9.5 points per game . Special Teams Philly Philly forces Kitna in to atleast 2 turnovers and there defense control the game overall Philly 27-San Diego 17 Good luck to all this week Jeff Shelton III.
