I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

The final week is here, to those who are playing out the string, thanks for a great season, have a good holidays and we’ll talk to you after
I get back from vacation about ballot props and awards. Please do all you can to play these games hth this week. I realize we had some
weather issues that hurt a couple of games, the others though were a lack of communication, so we need to work on that for next year. Good
luck to all!

Please make sure you are sending me the .xbx file right after your games so I don’t have to wonder if they got played on time or not. Just
a reminder, watch your usage on your KR and PR if they are not unlimited.

Guys, for those with hosting issues, you may want to check out this link and see if it can solve your problems.

Week in Review/Preview

The top teams all get the job done this week with NY Jets, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Houston and San Diego posting wins over teams who are looking
to the draft lottery. Indianapolis drops a game to St. Louis, but due to a tiebreaker they own over Tennesse, had already clinched a spot at
this point. Every game this week is important as NYJ and Dallas need wins to clinch a bye, Pittsburgh needs a win and some help if they want
a bye themselves, while Houston needs a win and NY Jets loss and they can still win the division. San Diego is locked in the 5th spot and
Indianapolis in #6, but both would like wins for some playoff momentum.

AFC Playoff scenarios
NY Jets – win and they win AFC East and #1 seed
Dallas – clinched AFC West, win and they clinch a bye and can win #1 seed with NY Jets loss
Pittsburgh – clinched AFC Central, need losses by DAL and NYJ to have any chance at a bye, likely #3 seed.
Houston – clinched no worse than #4 seed, win and NYJ loss and they win AFC East and a bye (they hold hth tiebreaker with PIT).
San Diego - #5 seed
Indianapolis - #6 seed

Same story, different conference here as the top 6 all put up wins on the board. Philly and St. Louis both have earned a bye and home field
throughout could come down to some obscure tiebreakers. Detroit has won the NFC East and clinched the #3 slot in the playoffs while New
Orleans with a win have clinched the #6 spot and a first round matchup with the Lions. The other wildcard game will be Atlanta vs Jacksonville,
just a matter of who will host the game and Atlanta needs a Jags loss as they lose the division record tiebreaker if both teams win this week
over Seattle and Buffalo, respectively.

Derek Anderson keeps Atlanta alive for a home playoff game in round 1 with a nice night, going 20 of 26 for 267 yards and 4 TD passes as he
leads the Falcons over the Giants to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Joey Porter has a field day chasing the Indy QBs all around the field and sacking them 3 times and adding 6 tackles to earn Defensive Player
of the Week honors.

II. News from Around the League

Game of the Week

Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions

Lions look to spoil the Eagles chances at home field throughout and a win would set up a potential second round game between the two if the
Lions can get by those pesky Saints. Philly needs the win and hope for a Rams loss to avoid getting deep into the tiebreakers and leave it
up to the computers to decide.
