I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Just two more weeks to go guys, so let’s please stay on top of things and get these games in. If you need a sub, please let me know asap and
I’ll find someone to fill in for you. Good luck to all!

There is a new Action file available on the website, make sure everyone gets this before you play any games this week! Here is a list of what
is fixes:

* Internet correction primarily for international users that fixes the appearance of a frozen game screen.
* Important corrections and additions to the replay challenge system. Remote players occasionally encountered their challenge choice being ignore. That issue has been fixed. In addition, we've activated quite a few new challenge situations. The net result is more challenge opportunities.
* Corrects occasional internet subbing issue.
* Several single wing and direct snap play calling and display adjustments.
* Added a penalty flag to the play-by-play display.
* Modified hurry-up situations to allow for platoon changes when there is a measurement or a player is shaken up.
* Pace adjustments have been added to the reports/play analysis screen.
* Adds drive summary information to the save/resume game system.
* Minor adjustments to the pass interference penalty system.
* Minor adjustments have been made to the QB rushing and scrambling formulas.
* Corrects several play-by-play text lines.

Please make sure you are sending me the .xbx file right after your games so I don’t have to wonder if they got played on time or not. Just a
reminder, watch your usage on your KR and PR if they are not unlimited.

Week in Review/Preview

As quickly as they get back in the race for a bye, the Steelers give it right back with an awful effort against a game Bears club that stings
them on their home field. The Jets get back on their winning ways and look like they may wrap up a bye this week. Dallas gets a big win to
clinch the division against San Diego. Houston keeps on winning and look to wrap up a home game in round 1, while San Diego takes the tough
loss against the Cowboys and can only fight for a home playoff game at this point. Indianapolis drops a tough one, while the Titans win, to
keep their slim playoff hopes alive for another week. Pittsburgh goes out of conference to face the Packers this week and look to finish
strong and maybe still sneak in for the second bye. Dallas goes to hapless Minnesota as they look to wrap up a bye and maybe first overall
in the AFC and the Jets head to Chicago where the Bears will be trying for another upset. Houston faces a pesky Denver club and will be trying
to clinch a home playoff game with a win, while San Diego tries to get back to their winning ways facing a Cleveland team who is only looking
to see where they will sit in the lottery. Indy has the toughest task as they get the Rams who can hurt their playoff chances while Tennessee
faces division rival San Francisco in hopes of cutting the Colts lead to one game going to the final week.

The Rams put a beating on Atlanta, hurting their chances for a division title and first round playoff game while clinching a first round bye.
Philadelphia beats up on San Francisco but still has work to do if they want a bye as they face Detroit in week 17. Detroit beats a game
Cleveland club to take sole possession of the East as Jacksonville drops their game against Houston and the Falcons lose to the Rams. New
Orleans beats the Giants to maintain their two game lead as only Tampa Bay is able to win and keep pace and with a better division record,
the Bucs hold the tiebreaker if they can manage to catch up. St. Louis looks to continue their roll as they face a desperate Indy team who
needs the win to clinch their playoff slot. Philadelphia gets the upset minded Cardinals this week as Arizona looks to try and take down one
of the top teams before the season is over. Detroit gets a slumping Miami club as they need a win to clinch the division title (they hold
the hth tiebreaker with Atlanta and the division record tiebreaker with Jacksonville). Jacksonville faces division rival Seattle, needing a
win to stay in 4th place for a home playoff game and keep alive their slim division title hopes. Atlanta is in a tough spot now but a win over
the Giants and some help could keep them alive for the division or at least a home playoff game. New Orleans wins over Carolina and they are
in the playoffs, a loss and a Tampa win over Kansas City means that the final playoff spot goes right down to week 17 for them.

Matt Shaub earns Offensive player of the week honors as he passed for 340 yards on 21 of 29 passing and has 5 TDs in the contest as Arizona
loses a tough one to the Buccaneers in the NFC.

Another losing team has the Defense player of the week as Elvis Dumervil has 3 sacks and 9 tackles for the Patriots as they lose to the Titans
and get knocked out of playoff contention in the process.

II. News from Around the League

Game of the Week

Tennessee Titans at San Francisco 49ers

Something a bit different this week as the top teams are all playing teams out of the playoffs, so we look at a team on the bubble in the
Titans. With Indy playing St. Louis, the Titans could give themselves a chance at the playoffs with a big win over the 49ers. San Francisco
is a division rival and will do all they can to keep the Titans out of the playoffs, so this game has more implications than any other right
now.
