I. MESSAGE FROM THE COMMISSIONER

Just one more week to the trade deadline, remember, all trades must be confirmed by both sides by 10 pm eastern, so please, don’t be late as
it’s not fun when I have to void trades for any parties involved. Also, if you are a new owner, remember, your trades need to be reviewed,
so please don’t wait until the last minute as you will hold everyone up and make the commish unhappy :O)

Finally, another reminder, though it only affects one or two teams. Please, immediately upon completion of the game, whoever hosts needs
to send me the .xbx file right away so I don’t have to chase after games that I think should be finished. One team or another should then
write up a game summary and send the boxscore to the list (please, don’t zip the boxscore, it’s just easier for everyone to read as they
don’t have to open it up).

Week in Review/Preview

The top 5 teams all keep rolling in the NFC as Detroit, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Jacksonville all win games to keep their playoff
push moving in the right direction. New Orleans takes a tough loss to the division leader but they still hold on to the 6th playoff spot
and in the end have the best chance of making the playoffs. That said, Green Bay and Tampa Bay both have teams who will push the Saints and
make it tough and the other teams better not slip up as the Bucs have enough offense to make any of them pay on any given week. This week,
Detroit has the big matchup as they face the Jets who are at the top of the AFC, the winner keeps their top spot, the loser better watch out
for the teams chasing them as things might get a bit tougher (the only good news is it won’t be a conference loss). St. Louis gets the pesky
Bucs and Philly gets the Titans, both teams who need wins to keep their playoff hopes from going on life support so they will bring it all
this week before the trade deadline. Atlanta gets the always dangerous Manning with the Giants and Jacksonville has a good chance to make up
some ground as they face the hapless Browns. Could be some teams get pushed into selling mode this week if some games get done early.
Finally, the Saints look to right the ship against the cellar dweller Panthers, but McNabb can cause a team problems, just ask the Jags who
needed a last second win to put him away.

In the AFC, the top 5 teams all won as well as the Jets, Steelers, Cowboys, Texans and Chargers all put the W up to stay atop the playoff
races. All the division leaders have at least a 2 game lead and a win over the teams chasing them, so the divisions could get wrapped up
pretty quickly if they continue to win. Houston and SD have the lead for the wildcards, but Indy, New England, Tennessee and Buffalo are all
within 2 games, so nothing is a lock over here as of yet. Only the Vikings, Niners and Browns are out of the race at this point, will any of
them be sellers this week at the deadline? The Jets have the toughest matchup with Detroit crossing over to give them their toughest test to
date. Pittsburgh finally gets a home game but the Patriots can give them problems and they will have to be careful and make sure they show up
(and find a way to keep Lynch on the field) if they want this win. Dallas can put a tough blow to the Bills playoff chances with a win this
week or Buffalo could play spoiler. Houston can just about finish off the Broncos in a tough divisional game, but Denver will look to stop the
streaking Texans and bring them back to the pack. The Chargers look to have the easiest matchup, but with Moss and Welker, the Vikings can
rise up and bite anyone in any game, so SD will have to play smart to keep pace with the rest of the playoff pack. The Colts look to get back
on track against the Niners in hopes of still catching the Steelers for the Central division.

Offensive Player of the Week is Kurt Warner of the Patriots who passes for 15 completions, 224 yards and 5 TDs which NE needs all of in a
35-30 win over the Broncos.

Travis Laboy has 3 sacks and 3 tackles to help lead Dallas to 27 to 7 win over division rival Tennessee and earn Defensive Player of the Week
honors.
